Jimmy Carter will have ‘a major service’ in Washington, DC
Biden said he spoke to Carter’s children and some Carter family friends shortly before addressing reporters. He said his administration was working with the Carter family to plan a state funeral “to see to it that he is remembered appropriately here in the United States and around the world.”
“We’re going to do a major service in Washington, D.C.,” Biden said.
