NEW: Murderer who had his death sentence commuted by President Biden is now demanding he be released from prison.
Brandon Council was sentenced to death after killing two bank employees in 2017.
Council says he is the victim of "psychological harm" and is demanding a "compassionate release."
"The petitioner's subjection to torture is the subsequent result of the petitioner's sentence to death, however, the additional punishment of solitary confinement which is the cause of the psychological harm is in no manner statutorily authorized, mandated, or required by the petitioner's sentence to death," his motion reads.
Council was sentenced to death in 2019 (video below) after killing 36-year-old Katie Skeen and 59-year-old Donna Major, in Conway, South Carolina during an armed bank robbery.

Janet Yellen Says US Will Hit Debt Ceiling Mid-January, Forcing Treasury To Employ 'Extraordinary Measures'
She doesn’t mention that she has been intentionally reducing the cash balance in the govt checking acct, forcing a debt crisis on Trump when he takes over.
Kevin McCarthy foolishly gave Biden/Yellen an unlimited debt ceiling thru January 1, 2025 back in 2023 during a CR vote. It made no sense and that is one reason McCarthy was ousted as Speaker.
Sec of Treasury Janet Yellen could borrow unlimited amounts during December 2025 and increase cash levels to a large amount, in anticipation of the debt ceiling snapping into effect January 1, 2025.
But she did the opposite. She has been doing low borrowing amounts and intentionally reducing cash levels to below normal levels.
That has the effect of forcing Trump and the GOP Congress into a debt crisis early in 2025 and a painful debt ceiling vote.
This was an intentional act by Biden and Yellen.

Janet Yellen has been draining the cash in the govt checking acct prior to January 1st.
Th debt ceiling currently is not fixed to an amount. It is set to unlimited till Jan 1st.
So if cash is low on Jan 1st, then Trump administration immediately has a debt problem. The debt ceiling issue is going to be coming up very quickly after Trump takes power because of Janet Yellen spending cash.

“BioNTech has entered into two separate settlement agreements with the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the University of Pennsylvania over the payment of royalties related to its COVID-19 vaccine, the company said in filings.
The German company, which partners with U.S. drugmaker Pfizer for its COVID-19 vaccine, said on Friday it would pay $791.5 million to the U.S. agency to resolve a default notice.
Separately, the company will pay $467 million to the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), which has agreed to dismiss a lawsuit brought against the vaccine maker accusing it of underpaying royalties.
BioNTech said partner Pfizer will reimburse it for up to $170 million of the royalties payable to Penn and $364.5 million of the royalties paid to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for 2020-2023 vaccine sales.
The U.S. government is owed royalty payments under the terms of the license BioNTech has taken for certain patents owned by the NIH, among other entities.”

On Friday the House of Representatives will take a vote on who will be the Speaker for the 116th Congress. Current House Speaker Mike Johnson is hoping to keep his job, but a handful of Republicans are considering voting against him in an effort to seat someone new. Who that new Speaker might be is still a mystery. (X Video) So, what happens if Johnson gets voted down Friday? He needs 218 votes for an outright majority. Republican Congressman Thomas Massie is a solid no and isn't changing his vote. Only two Republican members have to vote against Johnson for him to lose the Speaker's gavel.

Several Illinois school districts will be receiving millions in federal grant dollars to purchase electric school buses to replace gas-powered ones, Board of Education officials said. The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) announced on December 19 that it had been awarded a $19.9 million grant from a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) initiative “made possible by President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.”The initiative, called the Clean Heavy-Duty Vehicles Grant (CHDV) program, is doling out more than $400 million to communities across the country in areas that have been designated as being in “non-attainment” with the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS).
