Was there a worldwide plasma storm?
Consider Dolmans, stone chambers, cliff dwellings, underground cities, starforts, stone castles. Were they all means to escape the damage of a plasma storms?
I would suggest that the storms weren't continuous, and the people could live some of their lives in the open air but needed protection when the storms appeared.
Was a it a cyclical world event or a one time deal in history?
Just trying to make sense of it.
