Korean airliner crash update:

The aircraft was observed landing with only the Right Thrust Reverser deployed. Why not the left? If the left engine was shut down due to confusion of a bird strike and the Fire Handle was pulled, it would have isolated the hydraulics to that engine preventing the Right engine electric hydraulic pump and the standby pump from opening the reverser on that side.

In addition, the spoilers would not have delayed in landing with the gear up because it needs a weight on wheels signal from the right main gear to open the hydraulic value to deploy.
