Numbers on H1B visas VS illegal immigrants

This topic really really bothered me because I felt betrayed so I looked up the numbers. Apparently each year there's 65k H1B visas given out, with an additional 20k for masters holders. So 85k per year (and lets say 100k just to account for a % of inevitable abuse. For the sake of comparison lets assume this stays the same.

Illegal immigrants account for 11 million as of 2022, 14 million as of Feb 2024.

If we are able to deport 14 million, we actually will see such a skyrocketing of wages and need for QUALIFIED workers I can sort of see it as worthwhile to have a system in place. Now, we would need to crack down in diploma mills (I wonder if Americans can purchase these foreign diplomas as well… fight fire with fire eh?)
