No, I'm only pointing out that surveilling you with your private property (smart phones too) needs to be made illegal.

 

People need to be made very aware of the kinds of data being collected by their cars (and their phones). Maybe if more people knew, enough of them would get pissed off enough for congress to act.

They are making that harder to do in many places. Stricter state inspection laws, which no longer grandfather in older vehicles. The only exception being if you register them as "classic" cars, in which case you are restricted to only being able to drive them a small amount of miles per year.
