It was not relevant as it is not really part of England or British types in what would be consider as modern society. Bear in mind this modern is loosely and can really be a description of the post industry modernization aka the printing press… which started to standardized language. This was ruffly about 1890 but elements go farther back to like 1820 for industrialization which kicked off the printing press invention.
