Explosion at North Fort Worth power substation sparks fire, officials say
FORT WORTH – Emergency crews are responding to a fire following an explosion at a power substation in North Fort Worth on Wednesday.

The incident off Seventeen Lakes Boulevard and Henrietta Creek Road was reported at about 7:15 p.m.
"This is a very active scene with multiple first responders on scene," the Fort Worth Fire Department said in a social media post. "Please avoid the area and leave room for emergency vehicles."
According to Oncor, crews are working to disconnect all equipment so Fort Worth firefighters can begin extinguishing the blaze. Most customers have been rerouted, leaving fewer than 50 without power. Officials said efforts are ongoing to reroute the remaining customers.
