This gonna pay for things like debris and hazard material removal, temporary shelters, first responders salaries, and all the necessary measures to protect life and property.

Mr. Biden: There is, in case you haven't noticed, there is global warming. It does change weather patterns.

Mr. Biden: I'm, quite frankly, proud of the job the local officials in California are doing. I've spent a lot of time with the governor and the mayor of Los Angeles, and others; they're doing everything that we ask of 'em, and beyond.
