Well, they can be made to come back into service at any time. It kind of sucks when they get old. Consider this, anons can recognize connections and things that normies cannot. Mostly due to specialist knowledge and whatnot. These guys can recognize things going on at a whole other level above us. They can't really talk to people about most of what they did. They can talk about maybe things with their commander or people they worked with, but mostly not anything interesting. But every once in a while something gets declassified and they get to tell a story about it.
