The highest profile to exact damage and demand evidence is through Congress. Gowdy had a great reputation going into Congress and he quickly fizzled. This surprised many observers, including Thomas Paine (@Thomas1774Paine) who has an intel background. Gowdy had many opportunities to dig into HRC and exact damage, but he passed. This was well before the 2016 campaign.

Leaving Congress for the DOJ is a step backwards. Gowdy's a good barker, but has no bite. Time will tell, but YOU don't know either.
