Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has met with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, on the cusp of president-elect 's inauguration.
Smith joined Canadian businessman Kevin O'Leary and prominent psychologist Jordan Peterson.
Smith, who plans to attend the inauguration, has been vocal about Trump's threat to impose a 25% tariff on Canadian goods unless border security concerns are remedied.
Some say she has taken on the role of national leader in the absence of Justin Trudeau.
