SmartLA 2028? — Newsom Announces “Marshall Plan” to Rebuild a New Los Angeles: “We Already Have a Team Reimagining LA 2.0”

In the wake of the devastating wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles County, Governor Gavin Newsom has unveiled an ambitious initiative dubbed the “Reimagining LA 2.0” to reconstruct the city.
This plan, which he refers to as “reimagining LA 2.0,” aims to rebuild the city with a focus on modernization and resilience, particularly in anticipation of the 2028 Olympics and the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Gavin Newsom decided to take his PR campaign to national television on Sunday, and the results were a major disaster with notable word salads, wild gestures, and more.
NBC News Correspondent Jacob Soboroff traveled to Altadena, a census-designated place in the San Gabriel Valley in California which has been tormented by the Eaton Fire, to meet with the disgraced governor.
Throughout the interview, Newsom appeared defensive as he often clapped and made several other glaring gestures that caught the attention of viewers as he attempted to spin his way out of his disastrous leadership.
During one sequence, he showed he had no clue why the reservoirs in the Pacific Palisades were left completely empty.
One of them, The Santa Ynez Reservoir, has a capacity of 117 million gallons and could have played a critical role in stopping the fires as The Gateway Pundit reported.
Newsom also criticizes Trump’s approach to the situation, calling for him to visit California and see the devastation firsthand.
“I don’t think that mis[information] and disinformation advantages or aids any of us. Responding to Donald Trump’s insults, we would spend another month. I’m very familiar with them. Every elected official that he disagrees with is very familiar with them,” Newsom said.
“He’s done it in Utah. He’s done it in Michigan. Did it Puerto Rico,” Newsom said when asked about federal aid. “He did it to California back before I was even governor in 2018, until he found out folks in Orange County voted for him, and then he decided to give the money.
“So he’s been at this for years and years and years. That’s his style. And we take it seriously.”
The Democrat governor also outlines plans for rebuilding and preparing for future events, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and 2028 Olympics.
This plan aligns with the city’s existing “SmartLA 2028” strategy, which aims to leverage technology to address urban challenges and “improve residents’ quality of life.”
Earlier, The Gateway Pundit reported that the recent wildfires in California have led to the spread of conspiracy theories suggesting that these fires were intentionally set to advance the United Nations’ Agenda 2030 and the development of smart cities.
The United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development includes goals aimed at making cities “inclusive, safe, resilient, and sustainable.” This involves the concept of “smart cities,” which utilize technology to improve urban operations and the quality of life for residents.
The “SmartLA 2028” strategy, outlined in a document published by the City of Los Angeles, envisions a highly digital and connected city by 2028 under the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda.

Gavin Newsom Admits He is Receiving Advice from Hawaii’s Governor as ‘Speculators Come in, Buying Up Properties’ Amidst Wildfires

California Governor Gavin Newsom has openly admitted to collaborating with Hawaii Governor Josh Green on plans to address “land use concerns” following the devastating wildfires.
During an interview with Fox 11, Newsom revealed his intentions to take swift legal action in response to what he described as “speculators coming in, buying up properties.”
However, critics warn this could signal the beginning of a broader government “land grab.”
“I was just talking to Josh Green, the governor down in Hawaii,” said Newsom.
“He had some ideas around some land use concerns he has around speculators coming in, buying up properties and the like. We’re already working with our legal teams to move those things forward, and we’ll be presenting those in a matter of days, not just weeks,” he added.
While Newsom frames the initiative as a move to protect vulnerable communities from predatory land buyers, skeptics see a darker motive. Many believe this is a thinly veiled attempt to consolidate government control over private property, a pattern that’s become all too familiar in leftist strongholds.
In 2023, Hawaii Governor Josh Green announced plans to implement a moratorium on land sales in the affected areas to protect residents from predatory practices. While a blanket ban was deemed legally challenging, measures have been introduced to prohibit unsolicited offers for property in Lahaina. Violations of this prohibition can result in penalties, including imprisonment for up to one year and fines up to $5,000, according to PBS.
Additionally, there have been discussions about the state utilizing eminent domain to acquire land in Lahaina to ensure it remains in local hands and to prevent opportunistic acquisitions by external parties, according to Hawaii Free Press.
On April 5, 2024, the Council of the County of Maui approved a resolution to authorize the County to use eminent domain—a legal process that allows governments to acquire private property—to acquire a specific property interest (Lot 1-B) in the Central Maui Sanitary Landfill Subdivision.

Disgraced FBI Director Chris Wray Warns China’s Cyber Army Is Poised to Wreak Havoc on Critical U.S. Infrastructure at Any Time — Says Malware Is Already Embedded in Water, Energy, Gas Pipelines, Communications, and Transportation Systems

During an interview on 60 Minutes, outgoing FBI Director Christopher Wray disclosed alarming details about the Chinese government’s infiltration of critical U.S. infrastructure after years of failed leadership.
According to Wray, the Chinese government has not only stolen unprecedented amounts of personal and corporate data but has also embedded malware in essential systems such as water treatment facilities, transportation networks, energy grids, gas pipelines, and telecommunications.
“China’s cyber program is by far and away the world’s largest,” Wray admitted.
“They have stolen more of Americans’ personal and corporate data than that of every nation combined. But even beyond the cyber theft, there’s another part of the Chinese cyber threat that I think has not gotten the attention it desperately deserves: their pre-positioning on American civilian critical infrastructure. They are lying in wait on those networks, ready to inflict real-world harm at a time and place of their choosing.”
When pressed by interviewer Scott Pelley, Wray confirmed that China’s cyber intrusions are not hypothetical—they’ve already insinuated malware into critical systems.
While these revelations are undoubtedly alarming, this raise an even more pressing question: Why now? Why did Wray wait until a week before his forced retirement to alert the public to what he describes as one of the most pressing threats to national security?
Wray’s tenure as FBI Director will be remembered for focusing the Bureau’s resources on politically charged investigations that targeted Americans exercising their constitutional rights.
Under Wray’s leadership, the FBI pursued parents voicing concerns at school board meetings, labeled pro-life advocates as potential domestic terrorists, and launched a sweeping crackdown on January 6 protesters, including many who engaged in no violent activity.
Wray also infamously declared “white supremacy” as the greatest threat to the United States. All the while, a growing cyber threat from China was allowed to fester.
This is the same FBI that, under Wray’s leadership, became embroiled in scandals involving FISA abuses, politically motivated investigations, and suppression of key evidence in cases like the Hunter Biden laptop story.
