Trump Defense nominee Pete Hegseth continues to shine in his confirmation hearing while leftist Democrat Senators faceplant one by one.

 

As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, US Veteran, television host, author, and former National Guard officer Pete Hegseth is answering questions this morning before the US Senate Armed Services Committee.

 

Pete Hegseth is President Trump’s nominee for US Secretary of Defense and has battled garbage allegations from far-left Democrats along with the fake news media. He has been hit with libelous smears of sexual misconduct from anonymous ‘sources’ who only want to ruin his career and livelihood.

 

Democrats, as expected, are amplifying these false allegations along with other outrageous attacks on Hegseth.

 

Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) immediately came out of the gate trashing Hegseth as ‘unqualified‘ for Defense Secretary, saying he has “not earned his place.” She apparently thinks only woke career military officials are the only ones who should serve rather than determined outsiders with bold ideas.

 

At one point, she was so ‘worried’ about Hegseth leading an audit when the DOD had failed seven straight audits. But when she tried to trap him with a question designed to make him look unqualified on the matter, Hegseth refused to play her game.

 

This caused Duckworth to melt down completely and start screaming like a banshee for several seconds as her plan was foiled.

Protesters disrupt Hegseth confirmation hearing

 

Members of activist group CodePink also appeared to advocate against a "crusade" and in defense of Palestinians.

 

Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Roger Wicker admonished attendants at Pete Hegseth's confirmation hearing as Capitol Police removed disruptive protesters from the proceedings.

 

"The Capitol Police are going to remove immediately individuals that are disrupting the hearing. I see a pattern attempted to be inflicted on the committee, and we're simply not going to tolerate that," Wicker said in the wake of disruptive chants.

 

Hegseth fielded questions on his nomination to serve as secretary of defense. Multiple disruptions occurred throughout the proceedings as demonstrators voiced opposition to Hegseth's myriad public statements on the armed services.

House passes bill with bipartisan support to ban transgender student athletes from women’s sports

 

Critics of the measure argue the legislation would undermine civil rights of transgender students.

 

The GOP-led House on Tuesday passed a measure with bipartisan support to ban transgender athletes from competing in women's sports.

 

The bill, presented by Florida GOP Rep. Greg Steube, got 218 yes votes from Republicans and two votes from Democrats.

 

Three Republicans and six Democrats did not vote on the measure.

 

The measure passed despite opposition from over 400 LGBTQ and civil rights groups that argued it would undermine the civil rights of transgender students, according to The Hill newspaper.

 

Republicans during a press conference Tuesday criticized Democrat in the Senate, where the measure now goes, for having not supported the legislation when it was introduced in the past.

 

"We're going to stand up for what is right, whether the Senate will do the right thing or not," said House Majority Leader Steve Scalise, R-La.

 

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said that chamber will voter later his week on a measure from Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C., to deport illegal migrants who sexually abuse women.

 

"In the last Congress it was noted that 203 Democrats voted to let biological males play in female-only sports," Johnson said. "We will remedy both of these problems."
