I've been working on a project and not going out much, but today a friend stopped by to run errands with me, soon after the Senate Confirmation for Pete Hegseth began. Not wanting to miss the hearing, I bookmarked the video and was able to listen to it, in its entirety, after I got home (while I was putting things away and doing a little cleaning).
Great job, Mr. Hegseth. Great job to the Chair, also, who carefully introduced documentary evidence into the record to counter all the evil Democrats' attacks on Mr. Hegseth.
The days of us fed-up American citizens paying any attention to false and unsubstantiated allegations of misconduct (like they did to Justice Kavanaugh) are OVER.
We want Mr. Hegseth to be our new (and much improved) Secretary of Defense.
I feel so bad for men who get falsely accused of misconduct, so my prayers are with the Hegseth family and I cheer on all good people in Congress to fight, fight, fight, and confirm Pete Hegseth.
Interestingly, as my friend and I were talking (after we got back from the store), a big, beautiful bald eagle flew over our heads, as if to give us a sign from God that we're going to save our great country.
Then, to add to the excitement, a U.S. Army flew right overhead, closer than I've ever seen before (and I've seen those choppers over my house a lot for the past couple of years).
My guess it it was probably my favorite chopper,FURY 54.
We waved to the Army guys, and I hope the crew (and all who are in our military) know how much we love them all.
Now for my question: Does anyone know when the vote to confirm Mr. Hegseth will occur?
