Biden: ‘Things Are Going To Change Drastically’ In U.S. ‘Unrelated To Any Particular Leader’

President Joe Biden said during an interview late this week that things were going to drastically change in the U.S., but that those changes would happen “unrelated” to any political leader.

Biden made the remarks during an interview with MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell during the final days of his presidency.

“I really am concerned about how fragile democracy is,” Biden claimed. “Now, that sounds corny, but, I mean, I really am concerned, because you have heard me say it a hundred times. I really think we’re in an inflection point in history here, where, unrelated to any particular leader, things are going to change drastically.”

“And it occurs every five or six generations,” he claimed. “And it usually is generated by technology.”

“I mean, for example, if Gutenberg didn’t invent the printing press, how that would Europe have ever gotten united in any way, to understand what each country was thinking?” Biden asked. “I mean, it sounds stupid, but it really matters.”

“Look, I got involved — I didn’t think about it this way, but I got involved in public life because of abuse of power,” he claimed. “I mean, my dad would say, the greatest sin of all is the abuse of power.”

Biden said that his stutter made him realize growing up that “there’s so damn many bullies around.”

“The reason for all the safeguards out there is, in a very trite way to say it, is to keep the bullies from taking advantage of everybody else, the basic guardrails,” he added. “And I think that this concentration of enormous wealth and power in a circumstance where everything’s changing, and the biggest thing that’s changing is how we communicate with one another.”

Biden complained that social media companies would not censor conservative opinions and demanded that rich people pay their “fair share in taxes.”

“So I guess what I’m worried about is that the thing that keeps it on track are the guardrails, that there’s a Supreme Court that’s independent, but accountable,” he added. “There is a Congress that you speak your mind, but you’re held accountable to basic standards.”

Kushner’s fund to double stake in Israeli firm financing illegal West Bank settlements

Kushner’s Affinity Partners, as Bloomberg reported on Friday, received the nod from Israeli regulators to double its stake in Phoenix Financial Ltd., an approval that allows the Saudi-backed investment firm to buy an additional 4.95 percent stake at 37.5 shekels ($10.3) a share.

According to Bloomberg, Phoenix’s share price has surged over 50 percent to around 58.5 shekels apiece since mid-July, when Kushner’s Miami-based firm announced the $128.5 million deal to buy its initial 4.95-percent stake.

Kushner has held up the deal as a sign of his Saudi-backed company’s confidence in the Israeli regime’s economy which has been drained of coffers after about 16 months of brutal onslaught on the besieged Gaza Strip without achieving any of the occupying entity’s declared goals.

“Investing in Phoenix in July 2024 was a decision rooted in my belief in Israel’s resiliency and the fundamentals of Phoenix’s business,” Kushner said in a statement to Bloomberg. “Six months later, the increased value of our shares, reaffirms my conviction – both in Israel’s strength and the growing promise of Phoenix.”

Walgreens has been accused of filing millions of 'dangerous' opioid prescriptions in a lawsuit filed by the Department of Justice.

The complaint filed against the pharmacy giant alleges the company knowingly filled the 'excessive' amount of prescriptions over the last decade without a legitimate purpose.

The lawsuit, filed in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, says Walgreen's pharmacists filled controlled substance prescriptions with clear red flags that indicated they were highly likely to be unlawful.

'These practices allowed millions of opioid pills and other controlled substances to flow illegally out of Walgreens stores,' Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brian M Boynton, head of the Justice Department's Civil Division, said in a statement.

Walgreens also allegedly systematically pressured pharmacists to fill prescriptions without taking the time to confirm their validity, according to the complaint.

The lawsuit says Walgreens' alleged actions were in violation of the federal Controlled Substances Act and the False Claims Act.

Four different whistleblowers who previously worked for Walgreens in various parts of the country stepped forward, the statement said.

NATO F-16 pilot killed in Russian strike – TASS

A Danish instructor died in an attack on a Ukrainian training center in Krivoy Rog, sources have told the agency

Danish instructor Jepp Hansen, who was training Ukrainian pilots to fly F-16 fighter jets, has allegedly been killed in a Russian missile strike in Ukraine, TASS reported on Saturday.

Sources within Russian law enforcement have reportedly told the agency that Hansen died during an attack on a training center in the city of Krivoy Rog in Dnepropetrovsk Region in central Ukraine.

Previously, the Russian newspaper Gazeta had said that Russian forces used an Iskander missile to destroy a closed university building in the city which the Ukrainian military had converted into barracks. The upper part of the four-story building was almost completely destroyed, according to reports, while the facade of the building sustained heavy damage.

According to Russian media reports, citing a post by Hansen’s friend on social media, the Dane had significant experience in flying F-16 jets and had trained “hundreds of Ukrainians” to operate the planes.

Neither Denmark nor the Russian Defense Ministry has officially commented on the reports.

Last year, the Netherlands and Denmark delivered 20 F-16s to Ukraine and have vowed to send more throughout 2025. Norway, Belgium and Greece have also pledged to send a number of the fighter jets to Kiev.

Moscow has denounced the Western arms shipments, warning that they will only prolong the conflict without changing the outcome. It has also said that F-16 deliveries represent an escalation of hostilities.

Illinois City Council Bans Trump Shirt in Blatant Violation of the First Amendment

At the ACLJ, we are unwavering in our commitment to defending the constitutional liberties that form the bedrock of our nation. Recently, we took a bold step in protecting the First Amendment rights of Ms. Rosanna Pulido, a resident of Springfield, Illinois, who faced outrageous restrictions on her freedom of expression at a city council meeting.

The Case: A Nonsense T-Shirt Ban

On October 29, 2024, Ms. Pulido attended a Springfield City Council meeting wearing a “Chicanos for Trump” T-shirt. Despite her peaceful and orderly participation, she was singled out by a Springfield alderwoman, who cited a policy against “campaign materials” in the council chambers. Ms. Pulido was forced to either turn her shirt inside out or cover the message, despite no prior notice of such a rule and no legal basis for this restriction. Such an order was egregious – especially right before an election, when our political voices matter the most.

The Problem?

First, this rule is nowhere to be found in writing. Ms. Pulido wrote to the city council and the city’s attorney, asking what law was being enforced, and received no reply. Second, the rule is completely unconstitutional: Citizens can wear campaign T-shirts in public places.

The right to free speech, especially political speech, is a cornerstone of our democracy. The Supreme Court has consistently upheld that restrictions on speech in public forums must meet strict scrutiny. In this case, the Springfield City Council’s actions were not only unjust but also lacked any legal foundation. By standing up for Ms. Pulido, we are defending the broader principle that all citizens have the right to express their views without undue interference.

T-Shirts Are Non-Disruptive Speech

One of our first Supreme Court cases was our unanimous victory in Airport Commissioners v. Jews for Jesus, when Chief Counsel Jay Sekulow convinced all nine Justices that the state could not regulate non-disruptive speech like T-shirt slogans. Nearly 40 years later, some officials are still trying to tell people that they can’t express their opinions.

The government can’t regulate your speech’s content, period. When the city council opened up its doors to public participation, it included all voices, even “Chicanos for Trump.” Springfield City Council can’t pick which voices are heard, especially during the critical days leading up to important federal elections.

For those reasons, ACLJ sent a letter to the Springfield City Council demanding that it apologize to our client and promise to not do this again to anyone. If the council cannot commit to allowing free expression at its council meetings, the ACLJ is prepared to follow up with a lawsuit in federal court, making sure that Springfield’s citizens’ First Amendment liberties are protected.

Well, after the 2020 election, and in December, ASOG did another report, and the Jan 6 Select Committee had this, and hid it from you.

Although aware, I never got the official ASOG, Antrim county audit documents. But here they are.

All I know is what I found. These aren’t my statements, they are ASOG’s. So let’s begin.

ASOG:

“We conclude that the Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results.

The system intentionally generates an enormously high number of ballot errors. The electronic ballots are then transferred for adjudication. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, and no audit trail. This leads to voter or election fraud. Based on our study, we conclude that The Dominion Voting System should not be used in Michigan. We further conclude that the results of Antrim County should not have been certified.”

“The Antrim County Clerk and Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson have stated that the election night error (detailed above by the vote "flip" from Trump to Biden), was the result of human error caused by the failure to update the Mancelona Township tabulator prior to election night for a down ballot race. We disagree and conclude that the vote flip occurred because of machine error built into the voting software designed to create error.”

“We observed an error rate of 68.05%. This demonstrated a significant and fatal error in security and election integrity.”

“ The tabulation log for the forensic examination of the server for Antrim County from December 6, 2020 consists of 15,676 individual events, of which 10,667 or 68.05% of the events were recorded errors.

These errors resulted in overall tabulation errors or ballots being sent to adjudication. This high error rates proves the Dominion Voting System is flawed and does not meet state or federal election laws.”
