Hitler had bombs planted in buildings so that they would go off weeks after the Germans retreated, for example the Post Office in Naples. There was NO military purpose to this except psychopathic revenge.
The current Israel government is often very brutal, but they don't do terrorism like Hitler had done for no purpose.
