Growing up is a real thing.
Some make it, some don't.
(Some keep working at it…)
But the term "adulting" INTENTIONALLY obfuscates the fact that boys and girls need to grow into men and women.
And men and women are not the same, even if they are alike in many ways and need to learn to get along.
The term "adulting" suggests that there are HARD FACTS OF LIFE that the kids just need to accept.
In reality, those who use this term are thinking of conventional social norms that are very often counter-productive to the development of genuine virtue.
