Nice to know that not all judges and justices in Minnesota have been bought by George and Alex Soros.

The Minnesota Supreme Court ruled Friday evening that Gov. Tim Walz illegally called a special election to fill a vacancy in House District 40B.

“Under Minn. Stat. §204D.19, subd. 4, the writ of special election for House District 40B was issued prematurely and therefore must be quashed,” the court unanimously ruled.

James Dickey, an Upper Midwest Law Center attorney who represented some of the petitioners in the case, said “today’s ruling reinforces that no politician is above the law—period,” he commented.

The order could force House Democrats to end their boycott of the legislative session or risk the political fallout of a prolonged absence from the Capitol.

Stopping fraud a major goal for Minnesota Republicans as they introduce first bills of session.

Other bills seek to require the return of state budget surplus funds to taxpayers and prevent illegal aliens from accessing state-funded programs.

In 2023, Democrats in control of the House reserved the first 10 bills of that session to advance driver’s license for illegal aliens, free school lunches, and unrestricted abortion; all of which were passed into law.

SNL skewers MSNBC’s Trump obsession in fiery takedown of host Rachel Maddow.

This weekend’s “Saturday Night Live” roasted MSNBC in a skit ridiculing the left-wing cable news network about everything from its hysteria-prone coverage of President-elect Trump to its anchors’ personalities and appearances.

The segment featured Sarah Sherman as Rachel Maddow — complete with the host’s signature close-cropped hairstyle and thick-rimmed glasses — who introduced herself warning that dads watching at home “better hide their older, bookish-looking lesbian daughters.”

Sherman then introduced the panel, who she described as “basically like ‘The Avengers’ for your aunt” and which included cast members mimicking network regulars including Ari Melber, Joy Reid, Stephanie Ruhle and Chris Hayes.
