Here’s to the stupid ones. The conformists. The establishment. The trouble avoiders. The square pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things unchangingly. They’re fond of rules. And they have desires for the status quo. You can mock them, prove them wrong, parody or vilify them.
They told me to vote DeSantis. They told me to vote Ramaswammy. They said Trump was too unpopular, he had no chance, it was impossible. I guess they thought they could get "decency" on the ballot. I guess they pinned for the days of being the noble out of power opposition.
But here we are. Our side held the line, we fought the fight, and saw what we expected, one of the biggest political comebacks in human history.
So I say with all due respect to them, y'all can kiss our grits.
