Joe Biden sparked fury Monday morning by using his final moments as president to pardon Donald Trump's nemesis Dr. Anthony Fauci.
The president issued his anticipated preemptive pardons just hours before leaving office.
The pardons include others Biden and Democrats believe President-elect Trump will target in his second go around in Washington, D.C.
It ecompasses all nine members of the House Select Committee on the January 6 Capitol Attack, which includes Trump rival and former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney and the panel's chairman Democratic Rep. Bennie Thompson.
He also is protecting former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, another foe of Trump's and Fauci, who served as White House Coronavirus Task Force leader.
