Golden sun sinks low, where the waves all softly roll,


Salty breeze whispers secrets only sailors know.


From Texas shores to Florida's white sand embrace,


The Gulf of America, my heart’s resting place.

Pelicans dive deep where the dolphins dance along,


Fishing boats drift easy, humming an old sweet song.


Magnolia winds are calling, through the marsh and through the pines,


The Gulf of America, where the stars forever shine.

Oh, the Gulf of America, where the waters shine so blue,


Every tide is a memory, every sunset feels so true.


From the bayous to the beaches, where freedom rides the waves,


I’ll forever find my solace in the Gulf’s warm, open gaze.

Lanterns glow on Spanish shores, whispers soft and sweet,


The Gulf stands strong and mighty where the sky and waters meet.


As deep as its namesake, with a soul that won’t let go,


Eternal as the ocean, with a steady, gentle flow.
