I suspect that JA was removed back in Oct-16. Perhaps they're sneaking him back in again.
From what I've read there was a raid on the Ecuadorian embassy back in Oct-16; at the same time bad actors launched an attack on Wikileaks. It's not clear who raided the embassy but I read it that JA is safe, probably in the US. If he is to be formally handed over by Equador in the coming days, that won't be possible if he's not there. Ergo it is necessary to sneak him back into the embassy.
People are looking at what's coming out the embassy, not what's going in. I'm suggesting that he might have been in the white van and sneaked in, with the removal of furniture acting as a cover story.
