I think it's pretty clear both he and Manafort were inserted into the Trump campaign by the black hats. I think they've been hung out to dry which is why they are the two biggest witnesses. Manafort is protected in custody, but who knows where Carter Page is right now?

Cautionfag here….the segment of Clapper talking on CNN is VERY short…he's saying Obama tasked the DNI to complete "an intelligence community assessment" which ultimately led to the Russia probe…he sort of stops short of completely throwing Obama under bus…but I do agree he's laying the groundwork for his own exoneration.
