Are police who overstep their bounds going to be held to the same standards? Or are they the only ones to be protected, no matter how much they have harmed people?

The US deserves accountability, not just of the political classes, but also corrupt cops, judges, DA's, lawyers, doctors, pharmacists, and more.

Or is that phase 2?

Why don't they ALSO arrest the people who hire them, house them, and aid them? It's all already a part of existing law, and without the draw of employment and housing, it's REALLY difficult to justify illegally remaining in a country.

It worked perfectly well for Japan for many years.

We need to start holding business owners and managers who hire illegals accountable.

The criminal illegals should be treated however their criminality justifies. The criminal business owners need to be treated worse. Perhaps tried for treason as they sold their nation and communities out for profit.
