Serial Liar Anthony Fauci Breaks Silence After Biden Grants Him Preemptive Pardon Over COVID Crimes Allegations

In a final act of blatant disregard for justice, outgoing President Joe Biden issued a preemptive pardon to Dr. Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, shielding him from any future prosecution related to his mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Fauci, who has been widely criticized for his inconsistent guidance, misleading statements, coverup, and involvement in controversial research funding, now escapes accountability thanks to Biden’s unprecedented use of executive clemency.

“For more than half a century, Dr. Fauci served our country. He saved countless lives by managing the government’s response to pressing health crises, including HIV/AIDS, as well as the Ebola and Zika viruses. During his tenure as my Chief Medical Advisor, he helped the country tackle a once-in-a-century pandemic. The United States is safer and healthier because of him,” Biden wrote.

Recall that in the 1980s, during the height of the AIDS epidemic, Dr. Fauci told Americans that children could catch AIDS from casual contact.

Fauci also withheld successful treatments from AIDS patients for over a year as THOUSANDS died. He wanted a vaccine—that never came.

Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), has finally broken his silence following the controversial decision.

Fauci spoke with CNN’s Dana Bash during the network’s coverage of President Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Bash said that while Fauci is ‘ very appreciative’ of the pardon, he once again insisted he did not commit any crimes while overseeing the United States’ response to the COVID pandemic.

The Supreme Court has ruled that accepting a pardon implies an acknowledgment of guilt.

Dana Bash:

“I talked briefly to Anthony Fauci, who got one of the pardons, who said he is very appreciative of what President Biden did. He said, and again and again, he has done nothing wrong, but there are baseless accusations against him in his view, and he has been very worried about what it will mean for him, and even more so for his family.”

Dr. Anthony Fauci tells me he is “very appreciative” of the preemptive pardon President Biden issued this morning. “As (Biden) said, we did nothing wrong, but the baseless accusations and threats are real for me and my family,” Fauci said. pic.twitter.com/g2iVYNgRqo

Musk responds to ‘Nazi salute’ accusations

The tech tycoon says his detractors “need better dirty tricks” amid a furore over his gesture at Donald Trump’s inauguration

Billionaire Elon Musk, a close ally of US President Donald Trump, has brushed off allegations that he performed a Nazi salute when giving a speech at the inauguration on Monday.

In an article on the same day, the Jerusalem Post inquired: “Did Elon Musk Sieg Heil at Trump’s inauguration?” The Israeli newspaper quoted local activist and academic Shai Davidai, who wrote on Instagram: “I don’t care who you are, doing a Nazi salute is never ok.”

The episode happened when the SpaceX and Tesla CEO was addressing Trump supporters at the Capital One Arena in Washington DC on Monday.

He proclaimed: “This was no ordinary victory. This was a fork in the road of human civilization!” The Tesla and SpaceX CEO insisted that unlike some other elections, the November 5 US presidential ballot “really mattered.”

The billionaire then thanked the audience “for making it happen,” placing his right hand over his heart and raising it upward at an angle, palm down and fingers held together. He repeated the gesture once again, turning to the spectators behind him.

“My heart goes out to you,” Musk gushed.

Online commentators and many media outlets viewed the gesture as a Nazi salute.

Responding to a user’s post on X on Tuesday, who claimed the “salute hoax is just another part of the ‘dirty tricks campaign,’” Musk agreed, adding: “frankly, they need better dirty tricks.”

“The ‘everyone is Hitler’ attack is sooo tired,” he wrote.

In a post on X on Tuesday, the US-based Anti-Defamation League suggested Musk had “made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute.” The non-profit organization noted that “people are on edge,” and urged all sides across the political spectrum to “give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath.”

Some social media users have pointed out that other politicians, including prominent Democrats – Vice President Kamala Harris, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former President Barack Obama – have all made arm gestures in the past that could be interpreted the same way, but did not draw the same media scrutiny.

Other commentators have speculated that Musk’s stiff and jerky straight-arm gesture was attributable to Asperger’s syndrome, which the billionaire has said he has.

John Bolton says Trump revoked his Secret Service protection

"I am disappointed but not surprised that President Trump has decided to terminate the protection previously provided by the United States Secret Service," John Bolton said.

resident Donald Trump has revoked Secret Service protection for John Bolton, the president's former national security adviser said on Tuesday.

Bolton was part of Trump's first administration until November 2019 and received assassination threats from Iran after leaving. He has also been a vocal critic of the president since his departure from the administration.

"I am disappointed but not surprised that President Trump has decided to terminate the protection previously provided by the United States Secret Service," Bolton posted on X on Tuesday. "Notwithstanding my criticisms of President Biden's national-security policies, he nonetheless made the decision to extend that protection to me in 2021.

"The Justice Department filed criminal charges against an Iranian Revolutionary Guard official in 2022 for attempting to hire a hit man to target me. That threat remains today, as also demonstrated by the recent arrest of someone trying to arrange for President Trump's own assassination. The American people can judge for themselves which President made the right call."

An Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) member was charged by the DOJ in August 2022 for an assassination plot against Bolton. The department offered a reward of up to $20 million for information leading to an arrest or conviction of the IRGC member. The DOJ alleged that the suspect offered $300,000 to hire people to kill Bolton between October 2021 and April 2022.

The Secret Service declined The Hill's request for comment and the White House has not yet commented, according to the news outlet.

It is unclear if Trump directly rescinded Bolton's Secret Service protection, but presidents can determine who receives Secret Service protection, The New York Post reported.

Trump revoked Bolton's security clearance on Monday, along with 49 living former intelligence agency officials who helped coordinate an effort to discredit reporting that former President Joe Biden’s son Hunter had left his laptop at a computer repair business.

The president's executive order on revoking security clearances stated that the reason for revoking Bolton's was because of his 2020 book.

"Former National Security Advisor John R. Bolton published a memoir for monetary gain after he was terminated from his White House position in 2019," the order reads. "The book was rife with sensitive information drawn from his time in government. The memoir’s reckless treatment of sensitive information undermined the ability of future presidents to request and obtain candid advice on matters of national security from their staff. Publication also created a grave risk that classified material was publicly exposed."

States sue Trump over birthright citizenship order, say those impacted would suffer irreparable harm

Plaintiffs allege that executive order violates the Fourteenth Amendment

Eighteen states have filed a lawsuit against President Trump following his signing of an executive order Monday limiting the definition of birthright citizenship.

The order, which Trump signed in his first day in office, states the federal government will no longer grant documents or accept state and local documents for persons born to parents who do not hold US citizenship within 30 days of the order's signing.

The states were joined in the lawsuit – titled "Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship" – by the Michigan attorney general and the city and county of San Fransisco

The plaintiffs allege that the order would cause them and and their residents to "suffer immediate and irreparable harm."

The lawsuit lists the number of children born under the circumstances outlined in the order in each of the plaintiff's jurisdictions and the possibility of either losing federal funding or having to make administrative changes.

The lawsuit also cites the 14 Amendment, which defines U.S. citizenship as any person born or naturalized in the United States and the history of government agencies recognizing birthright citizenship for all children born in the United States as grounds for the executive order to be overturned.

The executive order cites the interpretation of the amendment outlined by congress under 8 U.S.C. 1401 which emphasizes being subject to the legal jurisdiction of the US as grounds for the limitation of birthright citizenship to the children of legal parents.

The states listed as plaintiffs in the lawsuit are California, Colorado, Connecticut ,Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Nevada, New Jersey, Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
