Makes sense to me. And now among other things the Reps have to figure out how to get there, and now it's obvious that they're going.

 

This was a hugely risky and obvious move by the Dems, not near the amount of cover and misdirection they usually have, so they must have had sufficient reasons.

It's too bad that apparently there was enough security around this action that it could be pulled off, and NSA intercepts did not reveal and stop it.

 

Why did security fail? Because even if there were no deaths, there could have been and it was not predictable in advance.

I followed that case a bit, and it was a pretty weak case tbh. Melgen didn't do a lot for him, he didn't explicitly ask for much from Melgen as I recall.

Why did we stop flying them? For that matter why did we stop flying the Concorde? We've got a lot of great tech. that we've been prevented from using, I think.
