has a copy of the Laken Riley Act been made public? I am hoping to find some language in it about detaining people who aid these criminal aliens. I have some missing puzzle pieces in studying different statutes, acts and laws that are in the way of DJT's prosecutors arresting the Governors and Mayors of sanctuary States and cities. I think this bill was meant to plug some holes in his authorization

>>22413068 (me) Kek check this out. Laken Riley Act is actually an amendment to the Immigration and Nationality Act. In my previous post I was seeking language giving DJT more power to detain people who aid illegals during this invasion. I found language where States can sue DHS on an expedited basis if they let them go free. It holds State AGs accountable to enforce this. That means if Sanctuary States let them go, it is the State AG that gets arrested. If we look at this in reverse considering blue States are saying they are going to refuse to comply. This new amendment means DHS must take then out of jails or else they get sued.

“(3) ENFORCEMENT BY ATTORNEY GENERAL OF A STATE.—The attorney general of a State, or other authorized State officer, alleging a violation of the detention and removal requirements under paragraph (1) or (2) that harms such State or its residents shall have standing to bring an action against the Secretary of Homeland Security on behalf of such State or the residents of such State in an appropriate district court of the United States to obtain appropriate injunctive relief. The court shall advance on the docket and expedite the disposition of a civil action filed under this paragraph to the greatest extent practicable. For purposes of this paragraph, a State or its residents shall be considered to have been harmed if the State or its residents experience harm, including financial harm in excess of $100.”.
