>We have to distinguish clearly that our main goal is to remove dangerous convicted migrant criminals and not about going after dreamers.

speak for yourself.

I want all H1Bs stopped indefinitely, dreamers deported, and immigration from non-European countries paused for the next 5-10 years.

did he actually do anything wrong, though?

NSA was clearly abusing power.

I understand the shadow war cia vs nsa theory for Snowden, but have a hard time finding sympathy for the NSA. lots of good debate and awareness came from his leaks.

there's a lot there. we can talk about releasing keys to shadow brokers, etc. but I've already acknowledged I understand and basically buy the idea that he was a cia plant.

doesn't that make it worse? Started under Bush, continued under Obama. Not trying to "distract" from anything - I'm just saying that NSA is probably the biggest government violator of American privacy rights, and I'm glad Snowden leaked the docs to bring that into open discussion.

>“We should be thankful for individuals like Edward Snowden and Glenn Greenwald who see injustice being carried out by their own government and speak out, despite the risk,” Paul said in a statement posted on the website of Campaign for Liberty, a nonprofit political organization which focuses on educating about constitutional issues, which he chairs. “They have done a great service to the American people by exposing the truth about what our government is doing in secret.”
