This is literally the only issue that I can think of in which Canada has clear superiority.
They eliminated the penny.
They have $ and $2 coins which last hundreds of times longer than paper notes and, thus, save a fortune.
Their paper notes are easy to differentiate from one another and are made from a pvc blend so they last much longer than ours.
On top of that, their paper notes have braile impressions so the blind can tell which one's they have in their hands.
We'd be well served to adopt their system over what we're doing.
Maybe that will be the concession that we give when they're annexed. 😁
