there was never a good dis-proof of the R post, period.

at the time (don't take my word for it, ha) BO confirmed that the IP hash for the R post was unique.
if the R poster was a hoax, they did a great job of making impossible for them to definitively prove that it was a hoax.

point of a research board like this is to help distill truth.
point i'm making is that there is nothing clear and/or obvious about whether or not the R post was a "Fraud"…everyone pointed at the guy in the next thread with a "you" screenshot…but as i've illustrated, that's relatively easy to produce quickly…and he had several minutes in which to do so.
does it expressly authenticate the veracity of the post? heck no…but when people such as yourself throw up their hands in exasperation…i have to wonder why.
