This is ridiculous. Totally unnecessary, and actually tars Gowdy's reputation for any future role. Only way to clean it up is if he takes a bow afterwards, and says it was all part of the plan/show. Same with Dan Coats recent comments regarding Trump and Russia. If he is being positioned as sympathetic to the narrative that Russia hacked our elections/is an enemy, then puts his judgment in question. With judgment like that, why should he be considered for any role in the judiciary branch? While trying to establish political neutrality he is establishing bad judgment. He should just stop talking. Let someone else play this role. Please don't give me disinformation is necessary. I think everyone of any significance on the inside knows what is going on. Just do it already.
