Ever So Good! Trump Begins Purging Deep State Neo-cons In Government

President Donald Trump has removed all the White House National Security Council (NSC) detailees and ordered a full review of new incoming staff.

Trump’s National Security Advisor Mike Waltz has fired 160 NSC staffers and is conducting a full review of new staff in a bid to retain those aligned with President Trump’s agenda.

“National Security Advisor Mike Waltz promised and authorized a full review of NSC personnel,” NSC spokesman Brian Hughes said a statement to the Associated Press.

“It is entirely appropriate for Mr. Waltz to ensure NSC personnel are committed to implementing President Trump’s America First agenda to protect our national security and wisely use the tax dollars of America’s working men and women. Since 12:01 pm on Monday personnel reviews and decisions based on the evaluations are being made.”

The sidelined NSC detailees are career civil servants from various law enforcement, military, and intelligence agencies and departments across the federal government such as the CIA, FBI and the Pentagon.

Waltz earlier this month said the Trump team has identified the individuals they want out of the national security agencies and they would be quickly dealt with as soon was President Trump was sworn in.

“Everybody is going to resign at 12:01 on January 20,” Waltz said. “We’re working through our process to get everybody their clearances and through the transition process now. Our folks know who we want out in the agencies, we’re putting those requests in, and in terms of the detailees they’re all going to go back.”

The Trump administration is looking into the social media activity, political contributions and voting patterns of prospective NSC staff to ensure they are aligned with President Trump’s national security priorities.

This also comes after President Trump on Tuesday pulled the security clearances of the 51 former intelligence officials who penned a letter in the days leading up to the 2020 presidential election falsely claiming the Hunter Biden laptop story was “Russian disinformation.”

That, and dramatically increase construction of single family housing so housing prices can start to go down and become more affordable for average Americans. A lot of Americans who pay rent today would love to live in a single family home, but homes are way too expensive today. I myself own a home but there is no reason for us to be greedy, if we want America to be great regular lifestyles need to become affordable for average workers.

I agree anon. However, at this point, with all the damage and killing that has been done already, is it fair to say Palestinians should probably seek refuge somewhere else, for their safety? Don't know, kinda conflicted on this. It isn't ethically right but at the same time, people are dying and Gaza is basically just rubble today.

Legendary financial and geopolitical cycle analyst Martin Armstrong is back with a warning to President Trump, who is on record wanting a weaker dollar. Trump might try to force a lower value for the US dollar to help offset the trade deficit. Just this past week, Trump is demanding lower interest rates. Experts say this might also lower the value of the US dollar. Armstrong predicts, “Everything has an international value. If you lower the value of the dollar, then oil in terms of dollars will rise. Look at gold. It’s not making new highs right now because the dollar is going up, but chart it in Canadian dollars or Euros and it’s making new highs. . . . You dramatically lower the dollar and you are going to cause a crash–again. . . . It could be 40% to 50%.”

Armstrong has deep experience in the currency markets. In 1985, Armstrong was called in by the Reagan Administration about cutting the value of the dollar to spark trade. Armstrong warned if you cut the dollar, you will have a big crash within two years. What happened? Two years later, the stock market crashed more than 22% in one day in the infamous 1987 stock market crash. It is still the record for a one-day crash in percentage terms. Armstrong says, “In the end, they said we think foreign exchange had something to do with the crash. That was the best I could get out of them. They are not going to stand up and say, oh gee, we caused it (the crash) by lowering the dollar by 40%.”

JUST IN: Trump Ousts Biden’s Acting Director for National Intelligence Ahead of Tulsi Gabbard Confirmation Hearing

President Trump ousted Joe Biden’s Acting Director for National Intelligence Stacy Dixon and replaced her with Lora Shiao.

Stacy Dixon was associated with DEI initiatives and she was reportedly trying to derail Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation.

Trump’s DNI nominee Tulsi Gabbard is set to appear in front of the Senate Intel Committee on January 30 for a hearing.

“The Trump Administration has named Lora Shiao the new acting director of national intelligence, replacing Stacy Dixon, the Biden administration’s top deputy in the office who had helped lead efforts to diversify the ranks of intelligence officers,” The New York Times reported.

President Trump also fired 17 Inspectors General in a Friday night purge to end of his first week in office.

The Europeans Are Unlikely To Accede To Zelensky's Demand For 200,000 Combat Troops (Without US Involvement)

Zelensky demanded a minimum of 200,000 European 'peacekeepers' during the panel session that followed his speech at Davos, which itself saw him propose that France, Germany, Italy, and the UK combine their forces with Ukraine’s in order to counter Russia’s in nearly equal numbers. He also suggested that Trump will abandon Europe in order to cut a deal over Ukraine with Russia and China. The subtext is that they should organize a large-scale mission before that happens.

They’re unlikely to accede to his demand, however, for the same reason that the UK is unlikely to actually establish a military base in Ukraine like it agreed to explore doing in their new 100-year partnership pact. None of the Europeans want to risk a war with Russia where they’d be left fighting on their own without American support, not even the nuclear-armed UK and France, since Trump isn’t expected to extend Article 5 mutual defense guarantees to allies’ forces in third countries like Ukraine.

Trump naturally wouldn’t feel comfortable knowing that others could provoke a war with Russia that might then drag in the US. Trump’s grand strategic goal is to wrap up the Ukrainian Conflict as soon as possible so as to prioritize his far-reaching domestic reform plans while “Pivoting (back) to Asia” to more muscularly contain China. Anything that could come in the way of that agenda, especially others provoking a war with Russia, is anathema.

From Trump’s perspective, it’s important to “share the burden” in Ukraine and ideally offload as much of it as possible onto the Europeans’ shoulders, though without emboldening them to provoke a war with Russia afterwards. To that end, he might publicly flirt with some variation of Zelensky’s European peacekeeper proposal, but only as part of a negotiating tactic with Putin so that he can then rescind it as a faux concession in exchange for something more tangible and meaningful from his counterpart.

The only scenario in which he might countenance this is if he’s tricked by the military-industrial complex, the Europeans (especially outgoing Polish President Andrzej Duda who’s one of his close friends), and misguided advisors into turning Ukraine into his Vietnam like Steven Bannon just warned. While there are causes for concern, most notably his remarks about Russia after the inauguration, it’s premature to conclude that he’ll go this route so the European war scenario remains very unlikely.

Deep State workers "terrified" of coming purge.

President Donald Trump’s executive orders targeting the federal workforce have injected a fresh wave of anxiety among employees across the bureaucracy — stoking fears the president is coming for their jobs.

Just a few days into Trump’s second term, some federal workers are contemplating quitting. Others are preparing to file grievances with their unions or moving communications with each other to secure platforms like Signal. Some, fearing they’ll be caught up in the White House’s purge of diversity programs, are leaving their names off of memos and documents they worry could be labeled as DEI-adjacent.

Kristi Noem confirmed as DHS secretary

The Senate confirmed Kristi Noem as secretary of the Department of Homeland Security on Saturday, voting to give President Donald Trump another Cabinet official who has pledged to help carry out his aggressive crackdown on illegal immigration.

The bipartisan vote was 59-34. No Republicans opposed Noem’s nomination.

Noem’s final vote follows the Senate’s confirmation of Marco Rubio, who Trump tapped as secretary of State and Pete Hegseth, who will lead the Department of Defense. Republican leaders are working to make good on their promise to press ahead with confirming the president’s Cabinet nominees even as some Democrats raise objections, slowing down the process.

Outside allies have viewed Noem’s selection as further indication that the administration’s immigration policy will be centralized in the White House, run by Homan and Stephen Miller, deputy chief of staff for policy and homeland security adviser. This could allow Noem to focus more attention on the numerous other agencies within the sprawling department, including FEMA, TSA and the Secret Service.
