Oklahoma State Senator Regina Goodwin (D-Tulsa) has sparked outrage after a shocking display of arrogance and entitlement during a routine traffic stop.
Goodwin was pulled over by Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputy Freddie Alaniz for running two stop signs and speeding, but instead of taking responsibility like any law-abiding citizen, she chose to argue, deflect, and play the victim.
“Ma’am, I’m not going to ask you again. Can I get your driver’s license, or can I take you to jail on running a stop sign?” Alaniz asked Goodwin. “I’m not going to ask you again. It’s not for debate.”
When asked to hand over her license—a simple, lawful request—she refused more than 10 times, forcing the deputy to take further action.
