just bought my first bread machine, and am two loaves in.. NEVER looking back!
i found a simple recipe and while the first was a brick (i eye balled the measurements) i used a scale to weigh and sift my ingredients, #2 was a great success.

prior to the machine, this summer i baked my first few loaves in my dutch oven with similar success. the first loaf we played soccer with, and the second and third were excellent.
the trick is NOT QUITTING!
