💥President Trump has signed an executive order aimed at revamping the Federal Emergency Management Agency, in the latest sign he's seeking to change how the agency handles disasters that hit the nation.
Sunday's announcement of the order comes days after the president said he was considering "getting rid of" FEMA altogether, as he and others in the GOP have in recent months complained the agency's disaster response has been biased against Republicans
The order calls for the creation of a task force, dubbed the Federal Emergency Management Agency Review Council, to review FEMA and recommend changes in a report to Trump.
The group will be composed of the secretaries of homeland security and defense, along with private-sector subject matter experts, per the order.
The task force could recommend getting rid of the agency, but only Congress can get rid of FEMA.

While Colombia's government is sabotaging its relationship with the United States, El Salvador President Nayib Bukele is currently working on a deal with President Trump to accept deported non-Salvadoran aliens to take some burden off of us.
El Salvador will be one of our most important allies—the amount of drug operations they've busted is unimaginable. They have indirectly saved many American lives that would've been taken by the narcos.
They also produce lots of coffee & flowers, just like Colombia. How about we all ditch Colombia fully and buy from El Salvador?

Fun Fact: Colombia's President Gustavo Petro has been seen in public displaying affection with a transgender newscaster.
Petro did not deny allegations that he was seeing the trans newscaster, whose name is Linda Yerpes, while cheating on his wife.
“I have always considered that intimacy is the 'last level' of freedom, the last trench of being free, and I will preserve this principle until I write about myself or die,” Petro wrote on X.
“But these thousands of transphobic messages that have exploded in the hands of a right-wing, deeply exclusive, ignorant and discriminatory society must be rejected by the president.”
Neither Colombia's presidential office nor Petro's wife Veronica Alcocer have denied the video's authenticity.
