they are egg layers here that are being sold (locally) I have a hatchery I am going to check out in Idaho that was suggested by the chicken people at the farm shop in the city. I do 90 meat chicks a year and 7 turkeys for poultry for 3 families (sisters do beef and pork)

I think I got the easy side of it. Chicken take 8 weeks from hatch to freezer (cornish cross) broad breasted white turkeys take 20-22 weeks and the rest of the year is tending egg layers and kicking back waiting for the next spring
