Where the money in Hollywood comes from; The Producers

The reason movies today are such rehashed garbage of sequels and prequels and reboots is because of the risk averse movie producers. But you rarely see them stirred up in the middle of things. Weinstein was one, but there's tons more that no one's even familiar with. How many more are there? Celebrities are way more public figures than the producers are and yet they hold the money that PAYS these celebs and choose when to fire them or blacklist them.
