Because the system saw it was within a certain distance of other traffic. So it flashed collision avoidance (CA) on the screen. Unknown what triggered it. Maybe the crash aircraft. Maybe something out of frame.

Yep, you can see the change change in the ground track from approaching runway 1 to approaching runway 33.

It's one thing to have a problem with the aircraft systems and have people die as a result. But when it's human error. Well that's preventable. And that is really bad. And I'm afraid this was human error.
