Unlawful arrest of former NFL defensive tackle and Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Warren Sapp for free speech and refusing to ID when not required by law. He was arrested and transported, then all charges were dropped and he was released.
He dared to argue and refused to give ID when he didn't have to under the law. He refused to be quiet when they told him to. Remember, according to the US Supreme Court the “freedom of individuals verbally to oppose or challenge police action without thereby risking arrest is one of the principal characteristics by which we distinguish a free nation from a police state.” Can you guess what we live in?
The only time speech can be interference is when you threaten them or possibly when you lie, ie "He went that way!". Protected free speech CAN NOT be interference/obstruction, even if it "takes their attention". The courts have been clear about this, but cops KEEP DOING IT and We the People keep having to pay.
