It would if there is no good sauce.

…however, in this case, there is this article:
Pacific Palisades rebuilding must include low-income housing: Los Angeles law
https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/realestate/pacific-palisades-rebuilding-must-include-low-income-housing-los-angeles-law/ar-AA1y7LvH#
(The Center Square) – Housing and land use experts say a Los Angeles city law could require the Pacific Palisades to include “affordable” housing to replace older buildings, and for new buildings where owners cannot definitively prove that their rental apartments had no low-income renters in the past five years.
The new Resident Protections Ordinance taking effect soon requires that “In Higher Opportunity Areas and Moderate Opportunity Areas, units deemed or presumed to be occupied by persons or families above the lower income category shall be replaced with low income units.”
The RPO applies to units “subject to a form of rent or price control through a local government’s valid exercise of its police power.”
In the city of Los Angeles, which includes the Pacific Palisades — a “High Opportunity Area" — all apartment buildings built before October 1978 are subject to the city’s rent control ordinance, which means all units in such buildings would need to be replaced with units “affordable” to lower-income renters even if the existing tenants were high income.
yw.
this will likely be Fitts' opinion, not based on new evidence.
Analyzing the Mid-Air Collision Over the Potomac: A Detailed Examination of ATC Communications
Captain Steeeve
this is the best discussion i've seen of the ATC comms
don't just watch the video, read the comments which are from dozens of pilots, heli pilots, ATC's and those specifically familiar with the logistics around the airport.
https://youtu.be/hfgllf1L9_4
think the tranny pilot was the pilot flying (presumably the trainee?) but not the pilot in command. Will soon come out in the wash.
new footage of crash
posted yet?

>death wish
dunno, too tired w/sore eyes atm to re read all the comments and ck the altitude info
there were definitely comms problems between ATC and the copter
and some question about whether copter pilot was following the right plane
cockpit recording will reveal more
plane was on final approach
fell into the water
assume over river
take a look: >>22475012
assume he'd see the lights but too late to change course
but idk, seems like having training flights in that location with military copters on a dif frequency than civilian aircraft is a recipe for disaster - they can't hear the other planes in the area
