First, his name sounds too much like Art Carney, the beta male whose character "Ed" played alongside Jackie Gleason ("Ralph"). Their relationship was like The Flintstones' Barney Rubble and Fred Flintstone. This anon draws analogy to Carney and Trump. Hard to take seriously.

Next is the name Carney itself. A "carney" is a person whose career and lifestyle is part of a traveling carnival. I noted that the ever-misleading Wikipedia entry avoided the spelling matching the Canadian politician's name. However, several other similarly-ranked and actually more-relevant search results used that spelling as the preferred spelling. [pic rel]

So, I rest my case: Canada's Mark Carney is a beta male playing subservient second fiddle to DJT in this movie; and further, he's always been a person of the character often imputed to carnies.
