No I think they are that stupid and arrogant. They try to outdo each other and consider to display in plain sight to be a "show-off" or Feat. Psychopath trait. They are so narcissistic they confess as a brag. The argument "if they were really doing that they wouldn't be saying it" isn't true. For a normal healthy person it would be true [a person who naturally feels shame]. But they feel no shame.
Their philosophy is egotistical and nihilistic; designed as a cover for their demonic crimes. Their philosophy has no substance, it's emptied. Just as darkness has no substance, no ground. That said: everything arises from the Divine and as much as the demonic are ignorant of that and would like to deny it [out of attachment to limited power and ego] they are part of the whole [holy] as is everything in the Creation. Otherwise, dark and light compliment each other. Nature is perfect. But oh human situation; what happened there? It's the duty of people who are wise to limit the activity of the demons and not to ignore their behavior. Otherwise you will be an enabler and participate in their bad karma. It will stick on you too. "oohh that's just a funny joke" right? NOPE. Everything is not equal in the sense that shit is not food. Such like that. Demonic nature wants to pretend it has the peaceful and deepening qualities of darkness, the beauty of darkness. But they are liars and their ways are ugly.
Interesting how they all hide behind "It's just a joke" Also how the "Joker" is always given the best and smartest lines [inversion] in recent movies. In drama the evil character in traditional drama is often the crowd pleaser but will always lose in the end?
Being too rich and hoarding money is associated with demons. It's not a compliment their darkness.
