A Georgia mayor was arrested for breaking into a lake house he coveted and confronting the frightened homeowner while snarling, “Do you know who the f–k I am?” police and the victim say.
The homeowner, who has not been publicly identified, said that when he saw the mayor walk up his driveway and approach his lake house, he rushed to get dressed and called police from inside his truck.
The owner of the home then approached Kamau and held him at gunpoint until police arrived, warning the mayor to stay put, the report states.
“No, motherf–ker, you stay right there,” the homeowner said, according to Kamau.
The mayor claimed that he apologized to the homeowner and explained who he was. When the homeowner warned him to wait for police, Kamau allegedly responded: “Are you going to shoot me while I’m walking away?”

The mayor addressed constituents via Instagram Live and described the travel guidelines as hindering progress, claiming the language was intentionally tricky.
“We all realize we have not been using the (purchase) card or travel policy the way they’re outlined in the policy because the policy is just unworkable,” he said. “It was written to trip people up and prevent things from getting done.”
