Russian Black Sea Fleet Debuts 'New Method' To Offset Ukrainian Drones
Updated Feb 02, 2025 at 9:49 AM EST
Russia's beleaguered Black Sea Fleet has developed a "new method" of fending off persistent Ukrainian naval drone attacks, according to a new analysis.
While most of its global naval forces remain unscathed, nearly three years of full-scale war with Ukraine has put huge dents in Moscow's Black Sea Fleet.
Kyiv has homed in on the Crimean Peninsula, which the Kremlin has controlled for more than a decade, but Ukraine has vowed to reclaim.
The peninsula served as a main hub for the Black Sea Fleet, but dogged Ukrainian strikes have forced Russia to relocate high-value assets like warships and submarines further east in the Black Sea over the course of the war.
Russia's Defense Ministry said early on Saturday that its fleet in the region had "destroyed one uncrewed boat" in the northwestern part of the Black Sea, heading for Crimea.
Kyiv has successfully challenged Russia's grip on the Black Sea, close to the southern coastline of mainland Ukraine.
In a later post to messaging app Telegram, Moscow shared footage it said showed Moscow's defenses taking out a Ukrainian naval drone.
The uncrewed surface vessel (USV) was "smashed to pieces," the Russian government said.
Russia's influential community of military bloggers suggested that Moscow had used a Kronshtadt Orion missile-capable drone against the naval drone, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), a U.S. think tank following the conflict, said on Saturday.
The Orion family of airborne drones are made by Russian manufacturer Kronshtadt, and come in many different types.
The bloggers, which are often used as sources of information in lieu of official statements from Moscow, suggested "this strike may be the first documented case of Russian forces leveraging a naval asset to deploy drones capable of destroying Ukrainian naval drones," the ISW said.
Ukrainian forces are able to shoot down Russian helicopters flying over the Black Sea with missiles launched from Magura V5 naval strike drones, the ISW noted.
Ukraine's GUR military intelligence agency developed the Magura V5 naval drones, and have repeatedly deployed them in the Black Sea. Kyiv's SBU security service operates its own naval drones, known as SeaBaby USVs.
Newsweek has reached out to the GUR and SBU for comment.
The actions on Saturday indicate "Russian forces have developed a new method to try to offset this Ukrainian naval drone adaptation," the ISW said.
Separately, the SBU said on Sunday that it had detained an agent with Russia's FSB security service in the southern city of Odesa, who had allegedly spied on Ukrainian vessels in the Black Sea.
Russia's Defense Ministry in a statement on Saturday:
"An uncrewed AFU [Armed Forces of Ukraine] boat traveling in the direction of the Crimean Peninsula was destroyed by the Black Sea Fleet's on-duty firepower in the northwestern part of the Black Sea."
As one side makes an advancement in drone technology, the other will continue to find ways to try to challenge this new advantage.

New Jersey Lawmaker Slams Trump Administration Over Scripted Drone “Non-Answer”
February 2, 2025
Assemblyman Brian Bergen (R-Morris) is demanding clearer answers from the Trump administration after officials attributed a wave of drone sightings along the East Coast to government-approved research flights.
The explanation, delivered by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Tuesday, stated that the drones observed over New Jersey throughout December were authorized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for research and recreational use. Bergen dismissed the response as a “scripted non-answer.”
“Every aircraft in the sky is authorized to be there by the FAA. That’s not news,” Bergen said. “This caused so much chaos.
The Trump administration’s response, honestly, it’s not good enough for anybody including me.”
The drones were first reported on Nov. 18 in Morris and Hunterdon counties, including near Picatinny Arsenal, an Army research facility.
Officials from the State Police, FBI, and Department of Homeland Security later stated the drones posed no threat, though they acknowledged they could not determine their origin.
The FAA temporarily restricted drone flights across New Jersey in response, but most of those bans have since been lifted.
President Donald Trump previously directed his chief of staff, Susie Wiles, to investigate the sightings, but Bergen and other New Jersey lawmakers remain skeptical of the administration’s conclusions.
New Jersey officials continue to push for more transparency on the unexplained drone activity.

Fact Check: Did Gordon Ramsay visit the top secret Area 51, long shrouded in UFO conspiracy theories?
Updated 00:07 PST, Feb 2, 2025
Being a celebrity chef, Gordon Ramsay is no stranger to traveling to exotic locales in private jets.
However, one of his recent travels, whose image the 58-year-old culinary expert recently shared on Instagram, raised eyebrows as it fueled a fresh batch of Area 51 conspiracy theories, surrounding the chef.
On January 17, Ramsay shared a photo of him sitting inside a private jet, with a rugged landscape - including mountains - visible from the aircraft windows. A small frying pan tucked in the cup holder also appeared alongside him in the image.
The 17 Michelin stars winning chef shared the image with the caption, "Come fry with me….Big (and small) things on the way."
Soon, the internet abounded with multiple theories with a section of social media users claiming the landscape seen behind Ramsay’sphoto resembled the mountains of Area 51, the highly classified United States Air Force facility in the Nevada Test and Training Range.
Just a few days after Gordon Ramsay made his Instagram post, TikTok user and professional GeoGuessr (a geography-based guessing game) player Trevor Rainbolt (@georainbolt), made an interesting claim in a video posted on January 21.
Reflecting on Ramsay’s photo, Rainbolt claimed the mountains visible from the aircraft windows resembled the mountains of Area 51, the US military installation that has long spawned conspiracy theories involving extraterrestrial life after people reported seeing unidentified flying objects in the area.
Though the area is restricted to public visitations, the TikToker put forward the theory that Ramsay might have visited Area 51.
Nevertheless, Rainbolt shared, "I saw this Gordon Ramsay post on Instagram and immediately knew something felt off, because he's not actually at an airport."
He further added that the mountains visible in the windows did not match the hilly area surrounding the Las Vegas airports. "And well Gordon, I found you.
With these pixels that resembled a fence, these mountains and this arid landscape, there's only one option: Area 51, with a perfect match. Gordon, you can't hide,” continued the TikToker.
Towards the end of the video, he referenced the names of peaks in the San Jacinto Mountains, which are about 250 miles from Area 51, as reported by Snopes.
He posted the video with the caption, “You can't hide @Gordon Ramsay #geo #geography #hexcladpartner."
A few days later, another TikTok user named @leyshaa—a flight attendant who streams her life as a flight attendant—added further details about the mysterious flight.
The cabin crew shared in the video, "One, we didn't even know where we were flying to. Usually we know where they're going to take us to.
We just know that we landed somewhere in Nevada, because it didn't even seem like it was a normal airport.”
“It was like, in the desert,” continued the TikToker, before adding, “When we landed, a group of men in black suits came and escorted him off the plane."

She further added to the mystery when she shared that the men did not allow her or any other crew members to disembark from the plane.
Later, she held up a small frying pan (similar to the one that appeared in Ramsay's video), and asked in bewilderment, "What am I going to cook with this?
This is not for a human. I don't know, but if you know who Gordon Ramsay is, you should keep an eye on him because obviously he's cooking something up."
She wrote in her caption, "I need answers! #gordonramsay #area51 #hexclad #hexcladpartner #hexcladgordonramsay."
Though a section of social media users fueled the claim that Gordon Ramsay was visiting Area 51, several other influencers debunked the claim in no time.
Instagram users including Christopher Alexander (@odd_chris_), Aaron Rheins (@aaronrheins) dismissed the rumors while pointing out a specific detail in both Rainbolt and the flight attendant’s captions.
The hashtag suggested that both of them were part of a marketing campaign for HexClad - a cookware company partly owned by none other than Gordon Ramsay himself, who also serves as its spokesperson.
When contacted, the brand further claimed to Snopes that something big was coming up on January 31.
A quick glance at the company’s social media page (namely Facebook), would further show that they indeed shared the brand's story along with a huge catalog of cookware sets comprising of cooking and frying pans of several sizes.
Following Rainbolt’s video, Ramsay too reacted to the post by commenting in a video about the conspiracy.
"Hey my man. You've done your due diligence, let me tell you,” shared the cooking genius, before adding, “Sounds like you're working for the old Pentagon.
Well done. But, I'll be honest with you. You're getting close. But, the proof is in the pan."
Moreover, the outlet further added that it is not sure whether the picture showed a genuine aircraft or it was shot inside of a studio.
The nearest airport to the San Jacinto Mountains is the Palm Springs Airport, but Rainbolt’s naming of the peaks did little to properly identify the location.
Thus, it can be safely said that the entire conspiracy was seemingly an elaborate ruse to create an ad campaign for the new cookware set.

Coast To Coast AM / Exposing the Deep State / The Alien Interview
February 1, 2025
Guest host Richard Syrett (Twitter) welcomed former CIA officer Kevin Shipp to discuss his experiences in counterterrorism and counterespionage, and his CIA investigation and whistleblowing.
Shipp described his unexpected recruitment into the CIA, driven by a sense of patriotism during the Reagan administration.
Initially doubtful that his past behaviors in college—including drug use, alcohol, and minor crimes—would allow him entry, he was surprised when he successfully advanced through the agency's rigorous background checks.
His recruitment process included interviews, polygraph tests, and extensive vetting, ultimately leading to his employment within the CIA's Security Protective Service.
Shipp transitioned from security operations to the CIA's Counterterrorism Center, engaging in high-stakes missions, particularly in the Middle East and South America.
He recalled extensive combat and survival training, including high-speed counterterrorism driving, firearms qualifications, and counter-surveillance techniques.
During one mission in the Philippines, his team was tasked with preventing assassinations by a violent terrorist group. Their success in stopping these attacks earned them a Meritorious Unit Citation.
However, Shipp recounted how his experiences in the field led him away from his Christian faith, as he embraced the morally gray and often corrupt world of intelligence work.
He described how many CIA operatives operated without moral constraints, engaging in drinking, deception, and other unethical behaviors, a reality he struggled with over time.
The defining moment in Shipp's career came when he discovered a severe security vulnerability in the CIA's operations, which allowed foreign intelligence services and terrorists to easily identify undercover agents.
After reporting this issue multiple times through official channels, he found that his concerns were being deliberately ignored and even erased from internal records.
His persistence led to an external investigation by the State Department, which confirmed that the vulnerability was not accidental but intentionally maintained by the CIA, potentially as a tool for eliminating non-compliant operatives.
Following this revelation, Shipp became a whistleblower, exposing corruption within the agency, which he said led to retaliation against him, including alleged poisoning of his family.
In the second half of the program, researcher Jon Stewart talked about his investigation into the authenticity of a video showing an alleged interrogation of an alien.
He asserted that the video depicts a real alien being questioned in an underground facility south of Area 51. According to Stewart, debunkers have wrongly dismissed the footage as a hoax, primarily due to the darkened visual presentation.
He argued that the original footage was altered for theatrical effect and that the unedited version clearly shows more details, including military personnel and the alien's upper body, refuting claims that darkness was used to hide trickery.
Stewart further claimed that the footage was part of a classified extraterrestrial program managed by the Department of Naval Intelligence and the Defense Intelligence Agency.
He revealed that his investigation, spanning six years and involving multiple whistleblowers, uncovered that this interview took place on April 22, 1991, and was part of Project Aquarius, a secret government initiative for retaining and interrogating extraterrestrial beings.
His main whistleblower allegedly provided access to a re-transcribed document detailing the incident.
This document, according to Stewart, confirms the existence of a hidden facility near Papoose Lake where ETs were housed and studied.
He asserted that this revelation also supports elements of Bob Lazar's claims about Area 51 and secret government programs.
Stewart also made the surprising claim that Carthusian monks were involved in the interrogation process due to their alleged telepathic abilities.
He stated that these monks were used by intelligence agencies for their unique empathic and remote viewing skills, helping to translate the alien's thoughts.
One of these monks, now 91 years old, reportedly confirmed this story to Stewart's team. He also mentioned that the alien struggled to comprehend human timekeeping, suggesting that its species operates under a different perception of time.

What’s Behind FINLAND’s Most Bizarre UFO Sightings?
February 1, 2025
From mysterious abductions and military encounters to unexplained aerial phenomena, Finland's most bizarre UFO sightings have left investigators puzzling over what's behind these remarkable cases that span more than a century of documented evidence.
Finland, with its vast wilderness and sparsely populated regions, has become an unexpected hotspot for UFO activity throughout the 20th century.
Despite the country’s tendency toward privacy and discretion regarding such matters, numerous compelling cases have emerged from this Nordic nation, documenting encounters that range from mysterious disappearances to military confrontations.
UFO Takes Children for Weeks
One of the earliest documented cases occurred in 1900 in the Kuhmo’s Lentiira region, where four children vanished while picking cloudberries in a swampy, wooded area.
After several weeks of searching, they were found mysteriously unharmed under a pine tree that search teams had previously examined numerous times.
The children’s account was extraordinary: they claimed to have been taken aboard a craft by humanoid beings and shown views of Earth from space. Remarkably, despite their weeks-long absence, they appeared clean and well-nourished.
This was documented in the book UFOs, Humanoids and Strange Phenomena of Ukraine, Belarus, Moldavia and Scandinavia by George Mitrovic.
By 1917 a woman named Anni Lattu experienced what modern researchers would classify as an alien abduction, though the incident wasn’t publicly documented until June 9, 1978, in the newspaper Kurkijokelainen.
The case, according to the book written by George Mitrovic, began when Lattu mysteriously vanished from her home in Jyrinvaara for several days in 1917.
Upon her return, rather than confirming neighbors’ assumptions about visiting her daughter, Lattu described encountering a large craft shaped like a washbasin that had landed beside her house.
According to her account, small beings emerged using a ladder and, despite her being able to partially understand their language, forcibly took her aboard after she declined their invitation.
She claimed to have been taken on a journey around Earth and among the stars.
The case gained additional context through later investigation by UFO Research of Finland investigator Mauritz Hietamäki, who interviewed one of Lattu’s former neighbors, identified only as “Mrs. N.N.”
The interview revealed that Lattu, born in 1873, lived a somewhat solitary life despite being married — her husband Juho outlived her by 11 years after her death in 1930.
Particularly noteworthy is how the incident was interpreted through the cultural lens of the time: lacking modern UFO terminology, villagers and Lattu herself referred to the beings as “devils,” a classification that persisted until her death.
Pori UFO Incident
The Pori UFO incident of April 12, 1969, stands as Finland’s most compelling aerial mystery and holds the distinction of being the only UFO case officially recognized and investigated by the Finnish Air Force. Known locally as “The Seven Balloons of Pori,” the event began when Jouko Kuronen of the Finnish Armed Forces overheard a radio exchange between the airport commander and pilot Tarmo Tukeva regarding seven yellow, disc-shaped objects hovering in formation above Pori Airport at an altitude between 1,500 and 3,000 meters.
The credibility of the sighting was reinforced by multiple forms of verification. Both Kuronen’s private radar and the airport’s ground control systems detected and tracked the objects, confirming their physical presence in the airspace.
As Tukeva approached in his Fouga Magister aircraft for closer investigation, he verified their disc-like appearance, though exact distance estimation proved challenging due to the lack of reference points in the sky.
The most extraordinary aspect of the encounter came when the objects suddenly accelerated northward. Despite Tukeva’s aircraft traveling at approximately 435 mph (700 km/h), he reported that his plane seemed practically stationary compared to the objects’ velocity.
Ground control later confirmed the objects had been detected over Vaasa, 110 miles from Pori Airport, just moments after their departure — demonstrating speeds far beyond any known aircraft capabilities of the era.
The incident’s documentation by Finland’s national public broadcasting company, Yle, and its continued unexplained status have secured its place as a cornerstone case in Finnish UFO research.
1/2
The Finnish Air Forces magazine, Rutuvaki, reported the incident in its April 12th edition, comparing it to other cases occurring over bodies of water during military exercises.
While officials attempted to explain away the incident as possible Soviet reconnaissance aircraft, this explanation seemed more hopeful than conclusive.
The case bears striking similarities to both historical Foo Fighter encounters from World War II and modern military UFO encounters, where pilots observe and sometimes pursue unidentified craft demonstrating superior flight capabilities.
Despite attempts to classify the incident as conventional aircraft, the Pori UFO case remains one of Finland’s most well-documented and credible military UFO encounters with no official explanation.
Don’t Shoot a UFO in Finland
One of Finland’s most disturbing military UFO encounters occurred at an Air Force base near Rovaniemi in Northern Finland in 1974, when a guard stationed on a hilltop above a storage facility encountered a metallic object emitting a blue glow as it landed nearby.
The incident took a dramatic turn when the guard, approaching within 30 meters, opened fire with their machine gun, causing the object to glide away behind the ramparts.
The consequences were severe: the guard later developed unexplained burn marks on their skin, and significant electromagnetic disturbances were detected in the area during the encounter.
This incident was preceded by a related event where a Draken fighter experienced an unusual generator fire, with radar detecting an unidentified object following the damaged aircraft until its emergency landing.
The full scope of these incidents and their investigation remains shrouded in mystery, as the Intelligence Office of the Finnish Air Force allegedly destroyed relevant documentation of the encounters.
Seeing UFO Made Them Sick
On January 7, 1970, when woodsman Arno Heinonen (36) and farmer Esko Viljo, both competitive skiers, experienced a close encounter in Imjarvi, about 15 kilometers northwest of Heinola in southern Finland.
At 4:45 PM, during a skiing practice session in -17 degrees Celsius weather, the men paused to catch their breath and observed the unclouded sunset.
Their peaceful moment was interrupted when they noticed a strange craft descending toward them, accompanied by a buzzing sound that, while noticeable, wasn’t irritating.
The craft, described as round and surrounded by a red-gray fog that became increasingly transparent as it descended, stopped approximately four meters above them.
According to their testimony, one of the witnesses felt as if someone had seized him from behind, and at that moment, they observed a humanoid creature standing in a beam of light.
The being, approximately 90 centimeters tall, had very thin arms and legs, a pale wax-like face, and most distinctively, a hook-like nose.
It wore a light green overall with dark green boots extending above the knees, white gauntlets up to its elbows, and carried a black box with a pulsating yellow light.
The entire encounter lasted only 15–20 seconds before the being and craft vanished instantaneously, leaving no trace.
The encounter proved particularly significant, as both men developed severe physical symptoms.
Arno experienced difficulty walking, facial swelling, and nausea severe enough to cause him to vomit in the snow. Most unusually, he reported his urine had turned black.
These symptoms were serious enough to warrant investigation by multiple medical experts, including professionals at the University of Helsinki, radiologists, and surgeons, though no conventional explanation for their conditions was ever determined.
While the initial encounter was well-documented and taken seriously by investigators, the case became more controversial when Viljo later claimed repeated contacts with aliens (about 23 visits), including alleged evidence such as a green pen and a rock from another planet, both of which mysteriously disappeared before they could be examined.

If ya want to be a human piñata cause ya got nothing better to do – come to X (formerly Twitter), where you and your family member former President Eisenhower will be mocked, lied about and thrown constant Nazi propaganda and re-written history.
When in actual fact you are from a family that aligned with the benevolent ET's ,who appealed to the Guardian groups (where I am from) and established the Earth Alliance, White Hats and the positive military units who are actively taking down the Deep State - who also created the greatest infrastructure in American history and warned us about the Military Industrial Complex, the very thing we are dealing with today.
I was targeted before birth to go to Mars because the Guardians told Eisenhower one of them would be born into the family to bring about the Truth along with many.
It is sad to see people defend their captors with all this disinformation and false narratives that has been cast upon us, to make the good guys look bad. Well I don't give a fuck.
The true Germans and Jews should be liberated from the Nazis and Zionists who are infected by the Negative Alien Agenda. The Ancient Hebrews and Aryans.
The Root races are being intentionally pit against each other and mass holocausts and genocides taking place, to keep us from awakening our dormant DNA and Ascending beyond their Matrix web - they need us fragmented to feed on us.
