Woke Psychologist Arrested for Child Pornography, Promptly Released Back Onto Street

A Calgary psychologist has been charged by ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation unit.

Dustin Hrycun was arrested by the ICE unit on January 30, 2025 with the help of the Calgary Police Service. The 45-year-old has been charged with possessing, accessing, and making available child pornography.

Hrycun’s charges are related to online offences and it is unknown at this time if any clients were potentially impacted. Hrycun worked out of Rising Sun Psychological Services and had been known to treat youth and adult clients.

“Given the suspect’s position of care and trust it is certainly concerning and we can appreciate how clients would be alarmed. Our investigation will continue and with a full forensic analysis of his electronic devices in an attempt to explore other evidence,” said Staff Sgt. Mark Auger, ICE.

The investigation began in October 2024 after ICE received a referral from the RCMP’s National Child Exploitation Crimes Centre. The referral alleged that the suspect shared child sexual exploitation materials over the online social media application Kik.

Several computers and electronic devices were seized from Hrycun’s Calgary home.

The Rise of the Immortal Dictator: What Will AI Mean For Freedom And Government?

The surveillance state, combined with AI, is creating a world in which there’s nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. We’re all presumed guilty until proven innocent now.

“If one company or small group of people manages to develop godlike digital superintelligence, they could take over the world. At least when there’s an evil dictator, that human is going to die. But for an AI, there would be no death. It would live forever. And then you’d have an immortal dictator from which we can never escape.”—Elon Musk (2018)

The Deep State is about to go turbocharged.

While the news media fixates on the extent to which Project 2025 may be the Trump Administration’s playbook for locking down the nation, there is a more subversive power play taking place under cover of Trump’s unique brand of circus politics.

Take a closer look at what’s unfolding, and you will find that all appearances to the contrary, Trump isn’t planning to do away with the Deep State. Rather, he was hired by the Deep State to usher in the golden age of AI.

Get ready for Surveillance State 2.0.

To achieve this turbocharged surveillance state, the government is turning to its most powerful weapon yet: artificial intelligence. AI, with its ability to learn, adapt, and operate at speeds unimaginable to humans, is poised to become the engine of this new world order.

Over the course of 70 years, the technology has developed so rapidly that it has gone from early computers exhibiting a primitive form of artificial intelligence to machine learning (AI systems that learn from historic data) to deep learning (machine learning that mimics the human brain) to generative AI, which can create original content, i.e., it appears able to think for itself.

What we are approaching is the point of no return.

In tech speak, this point of no return is more aptly termed “singularity,” the point at which AI eclipses its human handlers and becomes all-powerful. Elon Musk has predicted that singularity could happen by 2026. AI scientist Ray Kurzweil imagines it happening it closer to 2045.

While the scientific community has a lot to say about the world-altering impact of artificial intelligence on every aspect of our lives, little has been said about its growing role in government and its oppressive effect on our freedoms, especially “the core democratic principles of privacy, autonomy, equality, the political process, and the rule of law.”

According to a report from Accenture, it is estimated that across both the public and private sectors, generative AI has the potential to automate a significant portion of jobs across various sectors.

Here’s a thought: what if Trump’s pledge to cut the federal work force isn’t really about eliminating government bureaucracy but outsourcing it to the AI tech sector?

Netanyahu heads to Washington to meet Trump, hoping to ‘redraw’ Middle East

Immediate issue is future of hostage-release ceasefire deal in Gaza war; PM says working closely with US president, ‘we can strengthen security, broaden the circle of peace’

Netanyahu said his meetings in the US capital “will deal with important, critical issues facing Israel and the region — victory over Hamas, achieving the release of all our hostages, and dealing with the Iranian terror axis in all its components, an axis that threatens the peace of Israel, the Middle East, and the entire world.”

Speaking in English before boarding the plane, he said that the fact that he is the first foreign leader to meet Trump in the White House since the latter’s inauguration is “a testimony to the strength of the Israeli-American alliance. It’s also a testimony to the strength of our personal friendship.”

“The decisions we’ve made in the war have already changed the face of the Middle East,” Netanyahu declared alongside the state’s official plane, Wing of Zion, which took him to Washington. “Our decisions and the courage of our soldiers have redrawn the map. But I believe that working closely with President Trump, we can redraw it even further, and for the better.”

“I believe that we can strengthen security, broaden the circle of peace, and achieve a remarkable era of peace through strength,” he said.

Hundreds of mayors and dozens of Democratic governors vow to defy Trump’s energy policies

The U.S. Climate Alliance and Climate Mayors issued statements saying that the Trump administration's policies won't deter them from pursuing net zero emissions on the state and local level.

On his first day in office, President Donald Trump signaled a near-complete retreat from the Biden-Harris administration’s climate agenda, to be replaced with a plan for “American energy dominance.”

The actions the president took upon taking office sought to fulfill a campaign promise to improve the economy by lowering the cost of energy. While people around the world are generally supportive of efforts to lower emissions and build out wind and solar power, polls that also ask respondents how much they’re willing to spend find rapidly declining support even at $1 per month.

Achieving net zero comes with enormous costs — according to one estimate, world governments will need to spend $9.2 trillion every year to 2050 — and the wind and solar power required to decarbonize the grid greatly increase electricity costs.

While Trump’s campaign promise to bring down energy costs appealed to those who voted for him, supporters of net-zero emissions policies are predictably critical of Trump’s energy policies. Democratic and climate-focused mayors across the U.S. are vowing to defy Trump’s and the GOP energy agenda.

Climate action

Democratic Govs. Kathy Hochul of New York and Michelle Grisham of New Mexico, co-chairs of the Climate Alliance, issued a joint statement on Inauguration Day to United Nations Climate Change Executive Secretary Simon Stiell assuring the official that the United States would continue “climate action,” despite Trump’s executive orders.

“Our states and territories continue to have broad authority under the U.S. Constitution to protect our progress and advance the climate solutions we need. This does not change with a shift in federal administration,” the letter stated.

Defiance: "not backing down."

The Climate Alliance is composed of 22 Democratic state governors who support advancing net-zero policies. Its policy priorities include setting greenhouse gas emission reduction targets, mandating energy efficiency resource standards, financing renewable energy, and taxes on emissions.

Larry Behrens, communication director for Power the Future, points out in an editorial on Real Clear Energy, that states governed by members of the Climate Alliance pay 5% more for gasoline and 13% more for electricity over the national average. Five of the states with the highest electric bills have governors who are members of the alliance.

The defiance of Trump’s energy agenda is also happening on the local level. Climate Mayors, an organization composed of 350 mayors in 46 states, issued a statement on Jan. 20 critical of Trump’s decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris Agreement.

Criminal probe launched into Sara Netanyahu over allegations of witness tampering

State Attorney’s Office confirms to MK Naama Lazimi that it’s looking into allegations Sara Netanyahu organized harassment campaign against key witness in PM’s corruption trial

The investigation is being conducted by the Israel Police and the cybercrimes department of the State Attorney’s Office, and follows a report by Channel 12’s “Uvda” program that said Sara Netanyahu ordered Hanni Bleiweiss, her husband’s late aide, to orchestrate protests and an online campaign against Hadas Klein, a key witness in one of the cases in which the prime minister is standing trial.

“The prime minister’s wife is a convicted felon and, as we learned in the investigation, acted to harm prosecution officials and discredit a witness – very serious offenses for which she must be brought to justice,” Lazimi said.

AstraZeneca Executive: "We Received a Phone Call From DARPA Telling Us That COVID Has Been Declared a National Security Threat." ONE MONTH Before a Pandemic Was Announced

Sasha Latypova describes how DARPA,specifically Colonel Matthew Hepburn, coordinated the COVID-injection campaign in the U.S.

"[AstraZeneca executive Mark Esser] said on February 4th [2020], 'We received a phone call from DARPA telling us that COVID has been declared a national security threat.' And this was, I remind you, a full month before a pandemic was announced."

Retired pharma R&D executive Sasha Latypova describes for Sarah Westall how DARPA—specifically Colonel Matthew Hepburn—coordinated the COVID-injection campaign in the U.S. Latypova, who highlights a six-minute-long recording of AstraZeneca executives talking about how they were following DARPA's lead, notes that the U.S. DOD agency responsible for the development of new technologies for use by the military had assembled a "consortium" of pharmaceutical companies like AstraZeneca in 2017 with the stated purpose of developing "drugs and vaccines" within 60 days of being given the "code" (i.e. the ostensible genetic sequence) for a novel pathogen.

"I can tell you the exact date when they started running this operation," Latypova says. "By 'they,' I mean the person who kind of pulled the trigger on the DOD side; his name is Colonel Matthew Hepburn. He was at DARPA at the time, [the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency]."

"So he [Hepburn] was at DARPA at the time. He made the phone call," Latypova notes. "I'm not saying he's, like, the mastermind of all of this. [Although] he claims that he came up with the pandemic preparedness plan in public presentations. But he was the one who made a phone call…on February 4th, 2020 to a pharmaceutical consortium [set up to make 'pan influenza vaccines']."

"So [this] consortium of pandemic preparedness… pharmaceutical companies, and all kinds of medical device companies, [which numbers] in the hundreds…were ostensibly working on so-called 'pan influenza vaccines,' and this started at least in 2017, maybe earlier…And I have an audio recording…[of] two high-level executives talking about this. One is [AstraZeneca] CEO Pascal Soriot and the other one is [AstraZeneca] VP of monoclonal antibodies Mark Esser. And they're discussing in an executive meeting how this whole thing transpired from 2017, when they were approached by DARPA to become part of this consortium."

The retired pharma R&D executive adds, "at that time, what's interesting, Mark Esser says something like, I thought it was science-fiction. Well, because Mark Esser being an experienced drug developer, knows that this is science-fiction he's being asked to do. [Create drugs/'vaccines' for a novel pathogen within 60 days.] So that was his first reaction. But then he somehow says, 'Oh, no…then I realized that, you know, this is really possible. It's possible to develop these completely novel…mRNA or adenovirus or whatever ['vaccines'], [and] the monoclonal antibodies within, you know, 60 days or even sooner."

Slaughtering During a ‘Ceasefire’

Drop Site News reports that more than 80 Palestinians have been killed since Jan. 19 by IDF forces. Imagine if 80 Israelis had been killed by Hamas during that time.

The majority have been in Rafah, a now completely destroyed city which the Biden administration had previously said was off limits for a major Israeli offensive.

More than 80. Imagine if 80 Israelis had been killed by Hamas during that time instead. Hell, imagine if 80 Israelis were killed in addition to the more than 80 Palestinians who’ve been killed by Israel. Does anyone believe anything resembling a “ceasefire” would continue to hold had that been the case?

Of course not. Palestinian lives are viewed as expendable, while Israelis are viewed as human beings. Killing a few Palestinians here and there is viewed by Israel as morally equivalent to swatting a few flies who are creating a nuisance.

As an example of the kind of behavior I’m talking about, on Monday Israeli forces killed a 5 year-old girl in an airstrike on an animal-drawn cart near the Nuseirat refugee camp, apparently for no other reason than because the cart was traveling on a road that had not been “authorized for passage.”

Those are the IDF’s own words, not mine. That’s their own public justification for bombing a cart pulled by a donkey with a small child on it.

“In central Gaza, an [Israeli military] aircraft fired to distance several suspicious vehicles that were moving northward in an area that is not authorized for passage according to the agreement,” the Israeli military said.

The IDF claims that it used strikes from military aircraft to “distance” vehicles it considered “suspicious” because they were not traveling the right direction on the right road.

They’ll use airstrikes as a means of communication, the way normal countries use road signs. They’ll say, “We don’t like the way those Arabs are moving so let’s just send them a little message. There. Boom. Now your kid’s dead. Guess you’ll stop traveling the wrong way on that road now.”

In all the dozens of incidents in which Israeli forces have been firing upon Palestinians in Gaza, they have reliably justified their actions as defensive responses to a perceived “threat.” But we can see from the example above how shaky those claims of being under threat actually are.

Ireland’s Israeli Embassy Closure – Is Mossad Now Preparing A False Flag In Dublin?

Last month, tensions between the southern Irish state and Israel would come to a head with the announcement by Tel Aviv that they would close their embassy in Dublin, with the Jewish state having maintained a diplomatic presence in Ireland since 1996. The move follows the withdrawal of Ambassador Dana Erlich in May of last year, following the decision by Leinster House, alongside Norway and Spain, to recognise Palestinian statehood, a move that then-Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz warned would result in “severe consequences” for Ireland.

Indeed, one month after the commencement of Al-Aqsa Flood and the subsequent Israeli genocide on the beleagured Gaza Strip, Israeli Minister Amihai Eliyahu would suggest that displaced Palestinians “go to Ireland or the desert”. A move that would not only destabilise Ireland through the vast influx of refugees, but would also ethnically cleanse Gaza in line with an Israeli government plan to mass-expel Palestinians from the Strip. Eliyahu’s statements would later be echoed by former Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard, who served almost thirty years in a US prison for passing on official secrets to Tel Aviv before being released in 2015.

Following the Israeli invasion of Lebanon last October, shots would be fired at Irish UN troops by Israeli forces. Merkava tanks would also aim their turrets at the Irish contingent, almost resulting in an Irish equivalent of a USS Liberty-style incident.

The reason for such tensions arises from Ireland’s strong historical solidarity with Palestine. At the beginning of the 17th century, following the defeat of Irish Chieftain Hugh O’Neill and the end of Gaelic rule in Ireland, the English Crown would move vast amounts of settlers from England and Scotland into the Irish province of Ulster, which O’Neill formerly ruled over. Displacing the native Irish in the region, the plantation of Ulster would bear a stark similarity to the Nakba of 1948, in which 700,000 Palestinians became refugees overnight in order to make way for Ashkenazi Jewish settlers being moved from Europe into Palestine. This was in line with the 1917 Balfour Agreement, in which Britain promised the Zionist lobby that they would assist in the establishment of a Jewish state in return for the entry of the United States to the First World War. Both situations would result in the establishment of states in which the indigenous population was subjugated at the hands of a settler class, eventually culminating in widespread armed resistance. As such, strong solidarity exists in Ireland for the Palestinian cause to this day, resulting in a hostile attitude from Tel Aviv towards Dublin and Ireland as a whole. A hostile attitude that now ominously looks set to go beyond a mere breakdown in diplomatic relations.

Robert Brame on the Unusual Properties of the Pacific Palisades Fires

"They're burning from the inside out." Robert Brame on the Unusual Properties of the Pacific Palisades Fires - Global ResearchGlobal Research - Centre for Research on Globalization

Global Research: Some scientists have been trying to correct what they call conspiracy theories about what caused the fires to spread. Some of them say that people naturally feel the need to point to an explanation they can understand. Hence, it was created by humans.

Do you think this might be one element of the dissenting perspective you are talking about? Or are they just way off base?

Robert Brame: Well, if you’re talking about supposed arsonists lighting these fires, I think that rarely happens. I’m not ruling it out, but I believe that rarely happens because these are not the same flames.

GR: Well, you mentioned the fires that you witnessed way back in Northern California, Santa Rosa area in 2017.

It got you questioning what really happened because of the strange phenomenon you witnessed. Briefly, if you could, could you mention a few of the phenomena you witnessed that were not consistent with the heat from conventional fires and the damage they do to everything in its path?

RB: Yeah, why sure. When I first saw the pictures up there, I noticed 4700 homes had turned to white ash, and there was no black, no carbon anywhere.

And the photos I saw on the internet, I saw trees everywhere, all kinds of species unburned, untouched. So when I went up there and started analyzing this place, I found plastics around the yards, such as children’s play structures, plastic, swimming pools above ground, rubber garden hoses, trampolines, synthetics, all untouched unless there’s metal in close proximity. And then of course, when I get into the trees, more of my expertise, I noticed the trees that hold the most water, especially your extreme water levers that just are filled with water, the willow, cottonwood, alder, birch, aspen, even the maples, madrones, and the oak trees, oak trees hold a ton of water.
