I worked for allied/republic waste. Most trash unions are Teamsters.
As are most owners of the landfills.
Still a few mom and pop trash co. Tho most are medium size at best. They constantly get forced, bought out by BFI, Waste MGMT, Allied/Republic ect, ect.
Having worked in a trash transfer facility….
Hot days + Still winds = Worse than Foul Odors.

Wish I had more to give. Was 20yrs ago for a medium sized mom and pop business.
They got forced to sell to republic/allied when BFI bought the landfill.
Even then the trash business was/has prolly always been shady. Could tell of a few things sent to fills that shouldn't. Called the EPA.
But in hindsight I realize doing that prolly helped the corrupt EPA+mob connection force them out.
Miss the belief in justice. :(
Truck cab dmg on passenger side.
Debris field on south of tracks.
impact dmg of train engine vs impact/debris should show possible direction of truck travel vs train. And how possitioned at time of impact.
Could be intentional, could be dumb truck driver trying to beat train to get unloaded befor lunch.
Worked at transfer facility once. Lunch rush is a mad time. That and second round at/near end of the day.
