France’s Cour de Justice de la Republique found Lagarde guilty over her failure to challenge a fraudulent €403 million (US$ 418 million) settlement to businessman Bernard Tapie in a dispute with the French government, according to media reports.
The court declined to punish Lagarde or give her a criminal record.
