I'm sure that this is just ONE of their methods of funding.
we still have EPA and 'consent decrees' and their methods of demanding 'oversight' for fishermen which brings up costs and prices for seafood. We still have the SBA which gives money to 'small business'. many 'small businesses' exist just to be there to suck up the Small Business Administration funding (witness what happened during covid).
we still have many other agencies as well.
The overhead for all this has stiffled American business and prohibited in a large way any competition to those groups which know all the insider tricks and are given a 'go to the front of the line' hand wave when they put in the forms.
They haven't even started dismantling DARPA and unwoven the web of companies, many of them from over seas, which are just handed very valuble patents that were developed with government dollars. The government should seek a 'claw back' on all of these patent grants.
the cost of many things, for example internet and phone, could collapse! (which would be good for everyone.).
we're only at the beginning of the reformation of the Government of the United States of America.
