First, the Democrats are claiming that Trump is undoing the work of Congress, which is historically untrue. USAID was created by President John F. Kennedy over 60 years ago by Executive Order. Congress has never codified USAID as a permanent agency. Virtually anything done by Executive Order can be reversed by another President’s action, which is precisely what Trump has done.
Just because an agency has been allowed to expand and be funded by Congress for six decades does not give it tenure. If they have a problem with this freeze, wait to see their reaction if Trump does the same with the Department of Education. That department was created by President Jimmy Carter, and was to increase the quality of education for our young citizens. Facts show it has done exactly the opposite.
One of the complaints about USAID by Congress is their reluctance to cooperate with Congress to ensure the credibility of the spending and transparency of the employees of the agency. That should concern us all, but every agency of the federal government should be good stewards of our money.

The Soros Connections
Yet this “crap” is exactly what the Left’s most notorious donor—George Soros—intends to fund. Soros, a Hungarian American billionaire who has funded nearly every leftist cause, established the Open Society Institute, which later became the Open Society Foundations. Open Society Foundations has worked with USAID to fund these kinds of programs.
“Biden’s USAID and George Soros’s Open Society Institute frequently partnered by co-funding joint programs that promoted radical social agendas throughout the developing world,” Max Primorac, former acting chief operating officer at USAID, told The Daily Signal in an interview Tuesday. Primorac served at USAID from February 2018 to January 2021.
Former USAID Administrator Samantha Power met with Open Society Foundations at least twice and with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation at least five times between 2021 and 2023, Fox News Digital reported. She also met with the Ford and Rockefeller foundations, left-leaning nonprofits that operate in similar orbits as Open Society.
Foundations in the Open Society umbrella have worked with USAID for decades. In 2001, the Soros foundations network listed USAID among its “donor partners,” alongside other government aid agencies in countries such as Britain, Sweden, Canada, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria.
Alex Soros, the son of George Soros, took over at Open Society Foundations in 2022. Soros also accepted the Presidential Medal of Freedom from then-President Joe Biden on behalf of his father in January. The foundation has bankrolled groups that advocate for critical race theory (the notion that America is systemically racist against black people), gender ideology, climate alarmism, and a preference for technocratic government.
Under Biden, it worked like this: The Open Society Foundations bankrolls a leftist group, say the Center for American Progress. That group then feeds staff into the federal government—more than sixty officials in CAP’s case. Working with those staff and via guidance documents, the group pushes the administration to take extreme stances on climate, immigration, gender ideology, and more.

Seth Rich was a DNC operative. He was “mysteriously murdered in the summer of 2016” just “weeks before” Wikileaks released the results of its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails. The matter of who leaked Clinton’s emails to Wikileaks directly pertains to the Russian Collusion Hoax that was perpetrated against President Trump. The murder is still unsolved. And the FBI still refuses to turn over records pertaining to the case to attorney Ty Clevenger, despite a federal judge ruling that the agency must do so way back in November of 2023. Even earlier, in September of that year, a judge demanded that the FBI and DOJ provide everything they had regarding Seth Rich to Clevenger.
The FBI responded by requesting another 66 years before they’d be required to release the information.
66 years?! “If we put our best people on it, and maybe work a little overtime, I think we should be able to get our notes and emails together for you in, say, 66 years.”
What the hell?! How can they get away with this preposterous intransigence? 66 years is essentially the span of time from the invention of the automobile until we landed on the friggin’ moon! They should be able to get any and all materials relevant to this investigation together in 66 hours! 66 days, tops.
This is just another example of a massive DNC-weaponized agency protecting itself…and the Democrat party…from a catastrophic public relations disaster and any subsequent accountability or penalties.
In a nutshell, it’s bulls**t and shouldn’t be permitted in a nation supposedly governed by equal justice and the rule of law.
This ties in, of course, with the way USAID and other federal agencies have been screaming about being investigated for waste and corruption. Democrats are making speech after speech, inside and outside the Capitol—each one shriller and more devoid of facts or rationality—in rabid defense of their favorite bloated cash cows. They appear to have gone bat-guano crazy, completely around the bend, off their rockers, off the rails, out of their minds. Really and truly. It is alternately hilarious and frightening to see.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been accused of sexually assaulting two women at a Trump hotel penthouse in New York City.
The claims were separately filed by anonymous Jane Doe's this week in New York Supreme Court, alleging he 'trapped' them at nightclub Limelight before moving them to the Trump hotel.
The women claim the incidents took placed in the 1990s, but it's unclear if they occurred on the same day. The hotel in question is believed to be Trump International, which opened in 1997.
In the first lawsuit, the woman said she was assaulted by the rap mogul several times, including in California, with one specific allegation claiming she was coerced into group sex after attending an event at Limelight.
The lawsuit says Combs organized the event at the club, a now-closed site at the former Episcopal Church of the Holy Communion on Manhattan's Sixth Avenue, 'with the top two floors dedicated to exclusive sex parties involving group sexual activities directed by and involving Combs.'
The woman claimed when she tried to leave, she was ordered to stay before being taken with her friends to the Trump hotel penthouse.
'Without the ability to leave, (she was) drugged, and forced to participate in group-sex activity during which she sexually assaulted over the next several hours,' the lawsuit claims.
The second lawsuit makes similarly shocking allegations, again saying the plaintiff was attacked after attending a Limelight party where the top two floors were 'exclusively occupied by group-sex parties.'
